Astro Jump

Had to cancel the jumpy house the day before the event. The owner was super kind about it and simply asked me if I wanted to reschedule or cancel. He was straightforward and I wasn’t given a guilt trip. I will definitely rent my next jumpy house from Astro Jump.

Great service, arrived when they said they would, took minutes to get it up and running. Clean and in perfect condition. The children from 2 – 11 years old had a blast. Fun had by all. I highly recommend AstroJump.

Astro Jump absolutely saved my son’s birthday party on Saturday! I was late in calling for a jumpy, not realizing this was a huge weekend of end-​of-​school-​year events. Astro squeezed us in and delivered a huge pirate ship complete with slide. All the kids loved it, especially my son, who thinks I am the coolest mom ever now. Thank you Astro Jump, you saved this mama!

I am so confused about this business. My partner called to ask about a bouncy house for our kid’s birthday and was told that because we have a boy, «I won’t let you rent the pink house or the castle.» Are they making bouncy houses that are also sex toys? Are there hazards in the pink houses and castles that could harm a child’s penis? I really don’t think that’s appropriate. If they are just being a horrible business that wants to partake in cramming gender stereotypes down my child’s throat (as if he doesn’t get enough from every other member of society), I can walk away knowing they simply will not be getting my business. If they are making bouncy houses that damage penises or integrate sex organs in the bouncing they certainly need to be reported to an appropriate agency and/​or more specifically market these products to adults. Perhaps one of their bouncy house sex toy combos will be great for our next anniversary!

After looking at the reviews on Unilocal of the «other» fun jump rentals in the SF Bay Area, I was a little dismayed that nearly all of them had an average of 1 star rating. Then I looked at Astro Jump (albeit there was a review of 1 star) and found the reviews higher and helpful. So, I called Astro Jump of Northbay on a one day notice (for a party the next day), and was very pleased. Reggie (the driver) called to say he was in traffic, but came before the party and was laxed in picking it up on time (because he was .5 hour late). The combo 4 for 1 SpongeBob jumper seemed clean and no major injuries or accidents due to placement in our backyard (cement). I was pleasantly surprised and pleased at this company, and will rent again. I also found the reviews on Unilocal and ratings very determinable of whether I use that business. I would not want to learn the hard way, and experience bad business for myself then write about it, so I do trust Unilocal «authentic» reviews. *****Five Stars***** for Astro Jump of Northbay.

I had a last minute jumpy crisis caused by a different vendor’s over-​commitment of its generators on the day of my son’s birthday. In spite of having a full schedule for that day when I called (literally about 2 days before a busy September weekend), Astro jump fit me into his schedule. He communicated personally and often to coordinate times, came early, was clearly extremely busy but made his day a good bit more hectic in order to make sure we got our jumpy. He definitely saved the day.

Astro Jump is our go-​to birthday party fun zone! Incredible service by Greg and his son, we appreciate their straight forward and neighborly approach. Hands down, one of the best family owned businesses in Marin. We love you guys!

We put on a family Christmas party for our employees and their children. We asked for the largest bounce house they had, a cotton candy machine and someone to watch the kids while they were in the house. Roughly 200 children attended and the party was a major success.
The young woman who watched the children was amazing and patient. The house was huge, clean and most of all safe. The cotton candy machine worked well.
We were impressed and will happily ask them to come back.

Large selection-​Yes, but I will not be using their service ever again. Beyond their prices being way above their competitors (of course, its Marin, everyone thinks they need to charge more), they were rude and difficult to deal with. They do not post prices online, so you have to contact them for that. It took 4 emails to get a price quote and to confirm they had something we needed. Only to find out that they do not deliver to our neck of the woods (literally, we are ½ hour through the mountains from their warehouse). Then when I called their office after not getting a final response on my reservation, I was told they would need to call me back. This happened 2 more times before I was able to confirm the reservation. A reservation I made, at full price, even though I had to both pick up the jumpyhouse and drop it off. We agreed on a noon pick up, yet the day before, they called to confirm and stated they would be there @ 10:15am for the pick up. When I called back to speak with them about the time, I was told «We called you to confirm, you DO NOT need to call us to reconfirm». I then explained to the owner that the agreed upon time was not the time he left on my cellphone voicemail that day. I agreed to arrive sometime between 11:00am-12:00pm. I had to drive with my kids to pick it up, who get carsick, so since we live out West, we had to take the long way to reduce car sickness. Even though we tried, we still had to stop 2 times for tummy issues, and at 11:15am, the owner was calling my cell phone. When I answered, he was rude and abrasive and questioned why I wasn’t there yet! I explained where I was, and he continued to badger me about not being there yet. Seriously?!? I was picking up at full price, earlier than agreed upon and I was getting an attitude?
When my husband went to drop off the jumpyhouse, there was no one there to receive him. When we called the listed office number, the owner answered and told me «Well, since YOU were late to pick it up, I assume your husband would be late dropping it off. «WOW! This is how they speak to people who just doled out close to $ 200 for something that was literally used for 4 hours.
We usually use a different company out of Rohnert Park (they were booked this weekend). They are wonderful and kind, cost way less AND DELIVER AND PICK UP IN POINT REYES. From now on, I will make sure I make our plans in advance enough so that we can use them and NOT Astrojumps Northbay.

My negative review has nothing to do with the jump houses themselves. I did notice they have a great selection on their website. However on top of their prices being much higher than several other companies I checked with, they were very rude! I refuse to give my money to someone who is rude when I have been nothing but nice, professional and willing to spend money on my son’s birthday party!

Terrific. Have used these guys many times and once again, they provided superior service. They returned my initial call before any other jumper I called. They immediately sent an email invoice. Called to confirm the day before and the day of the event. Showed up on time, both for delivery and pickup, with 2 very nice, handsome, smiling young men.

We have used them for two years now for our company BBQ for bouncy houses. They are by far the most competitive in terms of price and have a great range of products to choose from. They are very professional (Mostly dealt with Greg), turn up on time, set up quickly and break down quickly. When inquiring about products they are very proactive in returning calls and securing what you want. They are also extremely flexible. The best part is that they are a chosen vendor for SF Parks & Recreation so the paperwork is minimal when dealing with them and having them deliver to a park in SF. This makes it extremely easy to do business with them. I would recommend them at any time.

We recently rented one for my daughters 2^nd Bday and Astro Events was by Far the best deal: more jumpy hours for the money, courteous, timely staff. I know there will be more jumpy houses from Astro in our future! Thank you Greg and staff!
We love going to the Marinwood farmers market on Sat just for the kids to play in Astro’s jumpy– always good safe fun, they have the right size for the number of kids.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I looked up Marin County jump houses and found a website that listed 7 companies-​I called them all. Greg at Astro Events was one of only 2 that called me back and HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO ALWAYS ANSWERED HIS PHONE! It was pouring the day of the event. I begged him to bring the jump house. He believed in me and the mission and brought the jumpy exactly when he said he was going to. The sun came up and the party was a success. GREG SAVED MY PARTY! They are reasonable, professional and reliable. Not to mention flexible — at the 11^th hour I had to choose another jumpy to fit under the rain cover we put up — NO PROBLEM! I highly recommend using this company. Thanks Greg!

Having been to the likes of Pump it Up for kids birthday parties, I figured that renting a big ol’ inflatable boxing ring for an indoor event wouldn’t be out of the question.
Only problem: I needed it within 24 hours — and didn’t want to spend too much money.
I originally called Astro Jump in San Mateo but since we were out of their region — they told me to contact Astro Events in the Northbay.
Greg was professional, delivered the big boxing ring on time and picked it up promptly at the agreed upon time. The bouncy was clean and easy to set up. Competitive pricing to boot. I’ve seen people set up bouncy jumpy houses in the park and other locations. So I’d imagine these guys would go there too.

Service! Service! Service! For the second year in a row I have contacted Greg Martinez at Astro Jump on very short notice (less then a week) for a Jumpy for my son’s birthday. Now that I have had the same very positive experience, I want to share that the delivery is always on time, pick up is on time, Jumpy is very clean, product I want is available, and everything goes smoothly. Makes me think these last minute parties are a cinch! thanks Greg at Astro Jump in San Rafael (I’m in San Fran, btw).

I have rented several bounce houses from differnt companies in the bay area. By far Astro Jump was the most pleasurable compny to work with. The jumpy was clean and looked brand new. I have had several companies not show up but, Astro Jump showed up early and stayed later than we had asked for. I am so pleased with this comapany and will continue to use them in the future and reccomend Astro Jump to all my friends.
