I was in a severe accident last night. The owner of ATA towing showed up and was so professional, courteous, sensitive & helpful. He provided some recommendations for ‘next steps’ which helped me figure out what to do in such a traumatic situation. Part of that had to do with trying to avoid having my car stored in his towing yard for any length of time! Next morning when I called to update him (Bobby), he seemed to sincerely care about my well being. Towing is a service nobody wants and probably doesn’t rate, but this review is well warranted.

Waiting 2 hours for them to turn up. Apparently they got too busy due to police calls. If you are in an emergency I would looks elsewhere. If you’re not — I’d still look elsewhere.

Just insane… California Highway patrol called and had my motorcycle towed, then it was towed to the fix it shop in SF. The cost? $ 1440. $ 365 of that was because my motorcycle was in «storage» for 6 days. That is, held hostage. They wouldn’t take a mailed check, nor credit card over phone. I had to have my friend drive their and pay with their credit card on the spot. It was ridiculous. They can go to hell.

Worst kind of scumbags. They do not contact you in a timely manner and force you to pay exorbitant fees.

Polite and professional on the phone — State Farm Emergency Roadside dispatched these guys to take me to fix my radiator. From Tib to San Rafael, my insurance covered it directly. When there is no transaction directly between customer and service, sometimes they treat you poorly, or don’t give attentive service. These guys kept me aware of arrival time, etc. The tow driver was awesome — friendly, professional, quick. They came and went, and it went perfectly. Thanks guys. now I know who to use locally. Cheers.
