Found out about this place while my wife and I were attending the breastfeeding classes at Marin General. The owner(forgot her name) gave us a great info on how to choose the right breast pump, how to use it and ways to store it… etc. Very informative session and since this place is a none profit, their items for sale is not marked high and to my surprise, their pumps are even cheaper than tys r us or target. Lady knows a lot about pumps, even if you don’t buy it from her, she will give you lts of info on how to choose the right one. They do rentals as well.

I love this store and mind you it is in the Marin General hospital! When my Mom was having surgery I ventured up to the babynook since I was seven months pregnant and remembered why I loved this place when i had my son there. When I gave birth to my daughter we bought the cutest clock there and some super cute Bunnies by the bay slipper for her. I even go back to find cute clothes there!

A fantastic resource for anything having to do with baby and baby’s extended family. We had the best education on differences between the current pumps on the market. Offerings include: Medela breast pumps, preemie/specialty diapers, feeding pillows, baby outfits, nursing nightgowns, baby carriers, nursing bras, older sibling gifts, books, mitted undershirts, books, nursing accessories and a lot of fun gifts. Prices are reasonable for the primarily high-quality brands. Best of all, it’s volunteer run and the profits support the Women & Children’s Services Program at Marin General Hospital!
