I went to D&K to get a quote for repairing a cracked rear bumper with metal bent inside. There was no wait time. Within a minute I got my quote. Larry even fixed the bent metal on the spot free of charge! I’m very impressed with the service, and will definitely come back for further repairs.

Ten Stars — I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I had an estimate without insurance — They were significantly cheaper and other autobody shops said it would take 1 week to 10 days. They were done in 4 days. The job was immaculate. The owner and workers are incredibly nice and hard working. I hope you don’t need autobody work but if you do, don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

After I received an outrageous quote elsewhere, someone told me to check out D & K. I went there, and Francisco was very helpful. On top of that, he quoted me half the price. I was hesitant, but the reviews convinced me that this shop is the real deal. They have hard workers and they do great work. I highly recommend, and if I get any damage to my car I’ll bring it here.

I just took my car to D&K for a quote. I had a dent on the trunk door and another small scratch. Francisco was very friendly and gave me a quote to get rid of the dent and repaint the entire back section. I didn’t want to have the whole thing repainted so he said he can do a touch up but it wouldn’t be perfect (I wasn’t as concerned about perfect but need to get it repainted to stop it from rusting). I choose option 2 and it looks great. They did it in 10 minutes and when it came time to pay, he said it was on the house (did I mention that this was my first time there?). I was surprised but he’s earned a customer. When I have any other auto body work, I will be sure to head back to D&K.

These guys are awesome. Francisco and his team were fast, affordable and perfectionists. I was amazed at the results they achieved on my car. I would recommend them to anyone needing help.

This shop is very honest and respectable. They never overcharge and they always go above and beyond to make the customer happy. I took my 08 tl type s here thinking it was totaled and I didn’t have insurance yet and they took care of me for a little over 2,000 dollars. Just had mercedes cls55 amg done with them and I am very pleased with the work they did. I would never bring my car anywhere else because I have been to other body shops and this is the best shop in town. I work a few shops down and they always have a lot of really nice cars being done. They know what they are doing and can get any job done. I would recommend this shop to anybody who wants their car fixed correctly. Most shops can’t match paint and line everything up as well as they do. I plan to always bring my cars here even if move towns because I trust them to do a great job every single time!

Honest, good, hard working people. Have had multiple family members and friends go to Francisco and always are treated right. I brought my car here with a paint transfer scratch on the bumper — Francisco stopped what he was doing and cleaned/​buffered the scratch off 100% free of charge. I will certainly be back when the damage is deeper than the surface.

Highly recommended. These are honest guys that will not overcharge or make higher estimates to get a better claim. Francisco personally helped me and gave excellent service. The owner, Francisco, fixed my little Scion for almost nothing, which meant I could pay out of pocket and avoid the insurance tangles. He did it in 20 minutes – it was really minor – and gave me the car right back, with a car wash as well. While there I saw many high end autos looking beautiful. I will use D & K whenever I need body work.

Just completed my third car repair with this business and can only say outstanding things about them. They were repairing an older car from a fender bender on the freeway that came very close to totaling my car. Thanks to Francisco and his talent for finding the right parts for the right price and for knowing how to work with insurance companies so efficiently I have my car back. It looks great, as usual they did a really good job. In my opinion the only place to go for auto body work in Marin.

This family owned shop is amazing, super honest and they walk you through the process and figure out the best scenario and the most cost effective solution. My husband needed some bodywork from a sideswipe. He looked up reviews on Unilocal and D & K had the best reviews. Although we had never heard of this place we tried it out. We’re very happy with the result. Francisco Velez, the owner is an excellent communicator and does exactly what he says he’ll do. He is professional, the work was done in a timely fashion. The entire process was painless. Highly recommended.

The second time I went to them I was leaving on a vacation for my 40^th birthday. It was a time crunch for me with my personal work schedule and a crunch for them to get it done. Well guess what! The owner made it happen and waited until after hours (not by much, but still, another courtesy) and made it work for me. I was so grateful, relieved and stress free when I left.

If you read my reviews here on Unilocal!you will see a common thread amongst them. I talk about an ‘Human element’ or a more old fashioned ‘made in america’ kind of business ethic. Well, that stands true for Larry and Francisco’s Collision Repair Shop.
From the moment they look at your car on estimate to the moment you pick it up – It’s a painless, simple process. And the work? Jeez guys — flawless indeed. I really can’t tell at all. Superior work. I have a great big smile on my face walking to my car and seeing it back to brand new quality — just such an amazing job guys.
And, their business principles are the best around. A solid understanding of what the customer needs without being excessive in cost, labor and materials. Every other body shop on that block (I went to 5 of them) wanted to replace my entire fender which was hardly damaged. D&K’s crew preserved the panel cutting down on several expenses in the process and came within a wholly reasonable end price.
This is the way you build customer relationship folks. Because you know what? Where other places would have gotten all my money ONLY once. D&K will continue to get my business over a lifetime. Francisco was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and explained the pros and cons of the options to fix cosmetic damage to my cute little car. He also was more than happy to deal with the at-​fault person’s insurance on my behalf.
The work his shop did is completely flawless! It looks PERFECT. I honestly cannot imagine having a better experience dealing with bodywork to my car.
And I got some complimentary touch-​up paint!

My 16 year old backed up my BMW and managed to clip a metal railing with the front bumper. He was supposedly going really slow and the metal railing just appeared from nowhere. Given that the car was no longer drive able because my front fender was now resting on my front tire, I am not so sure that he was «totally going slow.» Not wanting to put a claim in for him, I decided to pay out of pocket. I called at least 5 other places, including D & K. D & K was not the cheapest, but was cheaper than 3 others. Also, unlike the cheapest quote, I felt like D & K provided me a realistic quote that would not substantially increase once the work was completed.
When I picked up my car from D & K, I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the work. And the topper? They came in $ 200.00 LESS than their original quote. I would highly recommend this shop for their great work, good prices and fair dealing.
