I just had my first wax with Liana and she is amazing!!! I am very, very picky and she came highly recommended. I’m so happy with how beautifully she waxed my brows which are full and I like them that way. She shaped them perfectly but left the fullness. She was fast, thorough and the Brazilian was quick, thorough and relatively comfortable! Liana obviously really knows what she is doing and I highly recommend her. She recently left Milvali Salon so there are more reviews of her work there. I highly recommend Liana for all of your waxing needs!

I’ve had a lot of electrolysis on my face over the years (‘deforestation” as I call it) and by far, Anne at Dermal Essentials is the best. THE BEST!
Not only does she use a machine that blows a bit of air where she’s working (cooling, calming, distracting), but Anne has a lovely and gentle way of working so the removal process significantly minimizes the discomfort.
She’s scruptulously clean and organized. Her office is darling. Highly highly recommended.

I can’t rave enough about Erika and her mom Anne. They are the sweetest! I go to Erika, and try to squeeze in an appointment with her since she’s only at the San Rafael location once a week. Sadly, she’s moving to a shop in Walnut Creek but she’s worth the commute!
I have never had anyone do a wax as good as she has. I had my first wax done with her, and will never go to anyone else again (because they’ve all been horrible). She makes you feel relaxed, and it’s fun to chat with her while she’s working — it helps you focus less on the pain! If I give away too much she will not be able to squeeze me in for an appointment. I have to tell you though that Anne is the best skin care person in the business you will ever want to work on your skin. She is clean, she cares about you as a client, and her work reflects her concern about the health of your skin. I get everything for my face done there which are electrolosis, and facials. I have been a client for years. I think I had just given birth to my first child, and a fu man chu was growing from my upper lip. I had experienced facial hair in other areas as well, but that was the final straw. I will not grow a mustache, or wax for the rest of my life. Anne does such a wonderful hair removal job I haven’t had to see her for years. In the process of hair removal I have not received one scar, or one abrasion. It is uncomfortable, but to walk out of there feeling clean, fresh, and rejuvenated is worth every electrocuted hair (just kidding) I don’t know what she does to the hair, but it works! Her prices are very reasonable, and if you become a client you will never want to go to anyone else.
