Did not have a good experience for my divorce financial split. Hired her to split RSU’s and options, and she spent my money on working up various potential division models for alimony and other assets. When I questioned her as to why the reason I hired her hadn’t been done, she said that she only does what her clients ask. Well, what I asked for was for my options to be split, and I never got what I paid for.
She kept asking me for paperwork regarding my stock, and I spent a long time trying to find information that was already given to her in a previous email. She had this info, yet I was billed for the phone calls and emails asking me for it.
At the end of the process she said I had about $ 300 in credit, but I waited about a year and contacted her, and she said that I had spent all of the money. Hmmm.
Even my lawyer was very surprised about Kathleen’s service because she had recommended her.
1 star for performance, 1 star for the fact that she is a pleasant person.

Kathleen was recommended to us by our mortgage broker, so when we saw that she was teaching a «Relationship Finance for Couples» class through the San Rafael Community Center, we signed up right away. Beyond our interest in learning the basics of financial planning, we also really liked her philosophy of financial planning as a behavioral process, intrinsically tied to the life stage and health of a relationship.
The class was incredibly informative, and we received very personalized attention and learned about everything from wills and trusts to asset allocation, calculating assets and net worth, how to maximize retirement savings, and more. She gave us lots of great food for thought, and also lots of suggestions and recommendations of additional people to talk to for our current situation. We’re already feeling more empowered and making changes — and doing better about talking about all of this stuff together as a couple than we did before the class. Definitely a winner!

Kathleen has been managing my financial portfolio for a few years now and through her outstanding expertise, it has grown steadily and remained healthy. I really appreciate how well Kathleen stays current with my investments and checks in regularly with me about her ideas and plans to keep my portfolio strong, preparing me for the years ahead when I hope to retire.
