Have been a loyal customer for a few years and even referred people. Last time I visited her, she chopped off my hair straight knowing I hate that, took off so many inches too and I’m still dealing with the consequences months later., Also last visit — she indicated I looked like Melissa McCarthy. Will never visit again as while I remember when she had to ask the owner of Belissima how to do my hair, and now is rather full of herself. I was shocked, and sad to see the change. Miss the old Kim, still shocked/

I moved to the area earlier this year and after trying several hair stylists, I have finally found THE ONE! Kim is an incredibly skilled professional and she gives helpful recommendations. I have gone to her once for a haircut and conditioning treatment and then I recently had color with highlights done. Kim listened to what I wanted and the end results were fantastic. My color looks AMAZING and I was shocked by how gentle the products were. I have scalp psoriasis and I was worried about it flaring after the color treatment, but the products didn’t irritate my scalp at all. My hair looks healthier than it has in a long time. Kim is warm and welcoming and she is fun to chat with. Her prices are extremely fair and they can’t be beaten, especially with the high quality that Kim provides. I will definitely be back. I’ve been impressed with Kim since I found her. It’s easy to book online, she has night and weekend appointments, and she’s so reasonably priced. Best of all I’ve been really happy with the job she’s done cutting my hair, she’s had good suggestions and really listens to what you want.

Kim is GREAT She is experienced, skilled and very creative. She listens, asks questions, makes brilliant suggestions, and clearly wants a satisfied customer. I’ve never gotten so many compliments about my haircut. The salon is comfortable, with easy parking, and her price CAN“T BE BEAT! We always have a great time, too.

I had a groupon for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. Scheduling an appointment was so easy and completely painless! She has an online scheduling tool. I mainly wanted a trim because it’s been over a year since my last cut so I had tons of split ends. Also because my hair was slightly damaged from the last dye job I had, I wanted to get a deep conditioning. I told her I liked my hair long and that making the ends straight was the plan. She agreed and didn’t take too much off! The haircuts I’ve gotten always took off too much or made my cut look slightly strange despite cutting in a straight line. Kim did a great job on my cut and she doesn’t talk a lot and the silences aren’t awkward!
P. S. the salon is gorgeous. It’s modern and bright looking.

Kim is absolutely the BEST. I’ve been looking for «my» hair stylist since moving to Marin County two years ago — and I’m happy to say I’ve finally found her!
After totally messing up my at home dye job for a halloween costume (I Love Lucy — Lucille Ball… you get the idea…) Kim and Kathy (the owner of the salon) were able to save me from myself and from destroying my hair further. Great cut, great color — and an all around great experience. They were patient, creative and a joy to be around — for the 3 hours I was sitting in their chair — now that’s saying something, wouldn’t you say?

I met Kim today for the very first time, and am glad to say that I have now found a hair stylist for myself in my new hometown! I really loved this appointment for so many reasons, from Kim’s warm and welcoming personality to the care and precision she applied to cutting and styling my hair. She is so great to offer appointments on weekends, and makes it very easy to arrange a visit with online scheduling.

I have never written a review on Unilocal!But given the amazing experience I had with Kim today, I could not withhold sharing with everyone what an amazing stylist she is!
After moving to Marin nearly 2 years ago, I’ve been in search of someone to color/​cut/​style my hair. I have been to numerous Salons with good review on Unilocal,and have not been impressed with their work, nor inclined to go back.
That has all changed now. Thanks to Kim!
After purchasing a Living Social deal for partial highlights/​hair-​cut online, I figured the stylist would be booked/​busy with multiple clients taking advantage of the same offer, so I did not have high hopes.
To begin with, Kim took her time to listen to what look I was looking for/​trying to achieve with my hair and gave her honest opinion about my expectations. She then took her time (as she does not like to double book and make her clients wait), meticulously highlighting, then cutting my hair with precision and expert skills.
She gave her undivided attention to me through the entire process, even while my hair was being processed under the dryer. I’ve been to places where they completely forget about you during that time. Not Kim! She spent nearly 2 hours on my hair and the results are Fabulous!!! The highlights are spot on (very natural looking) and the cut is AMAZING!!!
I am SO thrilled to have finally found a great hair stylist in Marin that I can go back to.
