Marshall Steel Full Service Cleaners

I dropped off a coat to be dry cleaned on Sunday, expecting to be able to pick it up after work on Wednesday.
Service was perfectly nice and prices seem average $(14.25).
Just one little teensie problem,
Uhhh it wasn’t CLEAN when I picked it up.
My cat fell asleep on it, which is why I needed it CLEAN.
Still lots of cat hair on the inside lapel, gross!
Why didn’t I take it back and complain, you ask?
Why should I have to?
There is no way that they thought this was clean, they just didn’t care.
This was my first and last time using Marshall.
(Their business hours suck for someone who commutes to the city.)
Fail.

Service was fast and efficient, the owner Sun is very nice and made sure everything was correct before i paid. i brought in a number of shirts and dress shirts. i was looking for different dry cleaners around marin for a while now and since i have family in San Rafael Marshall Steel Cleaners is a bit more convenient and it never disappoints. the reason i give it 5 stars is because the overall experience, fast, efficient and friendly!

Great cleaning service and does a great job with dry cleaning my clothing. Pricing is reasonable along with the speed of the cleaning service. No complaints. Owner is very nice. Location is very convenient and it beats the other locations in San Rafael in that matter

Sorry to say but I felt absolutely not listen to what I was expecting to have fixed on my dress that I was wearing on my friend’s weding. I Wished i would’t had spend the money and time. A minor detailed was done in the straps that didn’t adress my concern of the way the dress fit in the back. I wish I would have been given the choice, but because I was not listen to I ended up paying anyways for something that didn’t get fixed, on top of it all had to come back twise because also the bottom of the dress was uneven. The owner Sun very arrogantly say after I have ask to try the dress on the day I came to pick it up. «you don’t need to try only if you want, we do a good job» I went over with her that my concern of the way it lifts out in the back was still the same, that I was not happy with the results, she say we measure here and I send out «I told them to cut on the strap, we did our job». I say, I explain to you what the problem was, where ever you send the dress don’t know, you did a minot cut on the strap but it didn’t fix the problem I wish you told me that what i wanted you couldn’t fix so I didn’t have to spend money in something you couldn’t do. I also show her that the dress on one side was longer, therefore she measure it and sended back! I had to come back for the dress and no adjustments were done in the back, not once she apologize for all the incovinience and disapointment I had in the results of her work, or was I even given a break in her price which I thought after finding out from other places was too high. They would do anything at Maeshall Steel Cleaners just to take your money, very arrogant atitude, even they make mistake the owner tells you to your face she does good job and doesn’t give you an apology, and upon of it all will not give you a price break even though she didn’t fullfiull your expectation of what you have asked for…

Marshall Steel Cleaners is a very nice cleaning service. I like to take my laundry there for wash and fold. The prices are reasonable and Sun the owner is super sweet and helpful.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is that I once in a while have another persons towel or wash cloth in my stack of laundry, and sometimes I have one missing. But otherwise they are great and it takes the work out of my day to do the laundry…
