I would call this a Scooter Park. Not a skate park. and its pretty good, very fun when minimal ppl. I do wish there was a larger 5 – 7′ pool. I’m not a hater, my 2 year old cruises on a scooter but once he is capable enough he will«evolve» to skateboarding like his 7 year old brother did. The scooter is a precursor to skateboarding, which can help with skiing, snowboarding, surfing and anything else in relation. Parents just like their kids to take the«easy» route. Sure skateboarding is hard, thats the point! I see these older guys on their scooters and it looks embarrassing(not the ones commuting, that awesome), the ones trying to do tricks. Im not saying its all easy but still looks very very dumb. Even the so called hard tricks look LAME. And BTW, the bigger you are the worse you look, just saying. I get it, you can fly around effortfully because it does not take much, but just so you know, you are getting in the way of those learning a skilled sport. Time to grow up, donate the scooter to a little one and evolve.

My son and his friend were very happy there and told me that this is the best skatepark in San Francisco Bay Area. Very good design of the park that allows to perform interesting tricks. I had a very good time there too… nice hike, great nature, amazing Bay Leaf Tree close by. Funny thing there is the Restroom — Flintstones style. If you interested in photos watch my show:

You know, I know the design is weird, and the lines are strange but… man this place is so weird! It’s the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory of skateparks. There are so many discrepancies at work here that it just makes for a bizarre experience, and I can understand the criticisms of the design, but… it’s like the Burning man, sometimes you have to get the freak on! — The bathroom looks like stonehenge. — The skatepark, usually situated in the most unattractive of areas, gets to sit on top of a gigantic mountain hill overlooking a golf course and tennis courts. That’s just bizarre. — there’s a big picnic at hanging rock vibe going on. all those adolescent australian schoolgirls would look at home here before they disappear just like in the film. I’m not even sure if you can judge this on the same qualities you do usual skateparks. Some of the runs are so strange, like, I’m a beginner and I feel like I’m going to get catapaulted off the mountain because they’ll throw you REALLY fast into… a dtich! or off the edge of a cliff! neat stuff. The bowl things are… weird! i mean, thinking on this, I don’t know, That whole skateboard and pool skating thing was happening due to cultural factors but it was like, an accident. When I went it was also nice because it was a lot of little kids just bopping around and while most skaters are pretty fun, there can be so much pressure and people proving themselves to achieve quality and progression, which is important. but it’s cool to have the cute bopping leanring kids. they were pretty good too!
