CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED ABOUT THIS SUBSTANDARD STORAGE FACILITY IN SAN RAFAEL AND IT’S MENTALLY UNBALANCED MANAGER JANET M. The manager claims to be 65 but looks and behaves much older and is mentally ill.
Despite her appearance she is physically and verbally threatening and abusive to legal renters of storage units. As I was vacating my unit and requested a written receipt, she first refused, then claimed «computer problems». When I said any type of written receipt would do, she physically shoved me out of her office and to the parking lot… Amazingly 2 minutes later she produced a computer generated receipt. She said if I attempted to re-​enter the building she would call the bail bondsman located next door and he always carries a gun.
I called the San Rafael Police twice over 30 minutes to say I was physically assaulted and threatened by her reference to having someone with a gun coming to the location. She then threatened to vandalize my new car. I parked on the public street in front of the storage facility to await the police… it’s now been 55 minutes waiting for the San Rafael police. I want this menacing woman arrested or placed under psychiatric evaluation. She is a threat to unassuming public customers of Terra Linda Mini Storage.

I discovered Terra Linda mini storage back in 2009 when I needed to move up the last bits of my mothers house to close by storage. This is a well-​run, clean operation, pleasant staff, especially Janet, who will help to meet your needs.
Recently I began to downsize, and was helped along the way to get on a waiting list for a smaller unit, I’m now in a unit ¹⁄₅^th the size of the original, and they made it easy.
I have had NO security issues — they are on top of their business, so it’s a place you can trust. And if you forget to send a check you get a phone call so you can catch up.

Great place to store stuff. The storage rooms come in a variety of sizes. Carts allow you to wheel your stuff around and up to the 2^nd floor on the elevator. Prices are reasonable and we were able to set up to automatically charge our cc. Oh… and they are very friendly over there. Always a pleasure to do business with em. Of course we are paying more per month than what our stuff is worth but that is a whole other matter.
