Lovely tanning spot! Though a bit pricier than salons I went to in Chicago (monthly unlimited around $ 90). Girl at desk was helpful describing the difference between beds & got a great tan after just 10 minutes– due to new bulbs!

I have been going to Sun Company since the first month it opened. It was originally run by Dennis’ daughter Shannon who I became really good friends with.
Dennis is like «Norm» on CHeers when I walk in it’s so nice to have that closeness when your there. I definitely love tanning but for me it’s also the best 25 minutes of relaxation I can get. I retreat to a room and put on my headphones and I wake up every time to the lights going off.
Dennis and Kathy and the rest of the staff are really great people and I would recommend Sun COmpany to anyone who asks. The place is neat and clean and well run.
Do check in with Dennis about specials because when they have them they really discount the price. Buy a bunch and you have a year to use them.

This place is amazing! My boss recommended it to me and allowed me to use one of his tans. I went all in for a «high pressure» tan because I am fair skinned and came out one time with a noticeable difference. I went back the next day and bought some! They’re having a great deal for Christmas that ends on 12÷24÷15… I suggest you go in and buy some before the new year because there will be a slight price increase.
Not only are their prices great but the girls who work there are SWEET and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and came out with beautiful skin.
Oh, tanning beds feel wonderful during the winter. Just saying.

This is by far the most superior tanning salon in Marin. They have A wide selection of beds. They have a very knowledgeable staff and the place is impeccably clean.

I love this place! First off, it’s by far the best price for tanning in Marin. They give a free sun bed session to every first time customer.
The staff is always so nice and personable. After my third or fourth time in there they began greeting me by name. If you accidentally leave something behind when you leave, they save it for you and have it waiting for you the next time you come in (yes, I tend to loose my belongings often).
The beds are always clean and have fans and radio inside for you to tune to your liking.
This place is by far the best tanning option if you live in Marin County!

From reading the reviews, one would hesitate to go but i must say I had heard about this place, and it was AMAZING, friendly and clean.

One of the cheaper Marin tanning salons, most people purchase a package for a certain amount of months. I love this place! It’s small, usually not super busy, waiting room has candies and up to date magazines. All employees I’ve interacted with in the past few years have been extremely friendly as well, giving off a more welcoming vibe. They keep your lotion there so you don’t have to worry about bringing any-​which is so convenient! Good place

I managed a few high end tanning salons for years, and sun company has got it right. The environment is a ‘true clean’ (not the kind that appears good until you look closer), they have quality equipment and bulbs, the staff is genuine and friendly, the pricing is very fair, and the owner has regular shifts alongside his staff. I have options of salons but I’ll drive further if I have to for the Sun Company, because it’s not just the tan that feels good.

Great Place to tan,. I have been coming here for many years and could not imagine tanning anywhere else. The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable and I have to say most of them know everyone by name, how’s that for customer service? Dennis greets everyone with a smile and warm heart he truly cares and his kind heart flows through the staff he hires.

I wonder if you didn’t argue with customers and make people feel awkward how many people would leave and go to the other tan place? The condescending woman at the front desk must have been having a bad bay. But yeah, I gave it one last shot and won’t be coming back now, in fact I left will no tan, and drove to Corte Madera for a beautiful bronzed tan! Yay! It even has the rays like the sun– so there!

Been coming here for 3 years and very disappointed in the way I was treated. The first 2 years I was quite regular, probably 2 times a month, I would just pay for an individual tan. Then I started purchasing packages to obtain better deals. The last package I purchased were for 3 sessions, and I remember perfectly the guy (older man) saying I can come in whenever I wanted and there was no time frame. I had been traveling a lot the last year so I hadn’t been able to make in as often. Used 2 tans within 8 months of each other and just walked in to use my final tan.
The same guy that told me that my sessions didn’t have an expiration 1^st tried to tell me that there was a month expiration on the sessions and when he realized that I used 2 tans 8 months apart he changed and said that it actually was a year that I had, felt slimy. I told him I was told that there wasn’t an expiration. I asked if there was anything he could do. He was rude and said no and let me leave. Where is the customer service? There was no problem saying whatever and taking my money but no effort in trying to help the situation. Very disappointed! He lost a regular customer for literally nothing.

Great salon! Has regular lay down beds, stand up beds, and high pressure and versa spa to boot! And don’t forget the LED light therapy treatment for the face that stimulates the production of collagen, reducing fine lines/​wrinkles, liver/​sun spots, and improves acne! Clean and well maintained, friendly staff as well who strive to help you reach your tanning goals yet are careful to make sure you don’t damage your skin with a sunburn.

great deals for Marin County

I have worked at two tanning salons in my day, so I feel I can be a good judge of this one. Two things make a good one: The machines & the prices. There is not that much to it. Of course I will say the man & his daughter who own it are very sweet. The machines are not the best in the land, but they do work. The prices are good. The stand up machine there gives the best tan as far as wow factor. If you are just looking for a base tan for a trip somewhere do a series of lay down tans and perhaps one stand up at the end. I always wait until the sale in late Dec. and buy a few or do the Unilocal deals. They are convenient for me and the prices are reasonable by comparison.

I got an awesome Unilocal deal! Even without the deal the place is extremely affordable and man at the front is super helpful! Clean place and nice machines all easy to use! He was super informative about everything. Great experience and definitely my go to tanning place before a sunny vacation !

I bought a Unilocal Deal for the Sun Co. and so far so good. I bought the $ 65 two week special deal for an upcoming occasion. The staff are very friendly and had lots of good tips and advice for me on my first few visits. The standup bed is nearly always free (all but once in 10 visits — in which case I used the lie-​down.) The only negative I can think of is that the beds themselves seem a little dated/​old. I have used tanning beds before and while these ones are not exactly state-​of-​the-​art machines they’re good enough to do the job, all be it a little slower!

Just one last thing — I won’t subtract a star for this, BUT one thing I wish they’d change is that on those rare occasions when your tan-​mate in the next room decides to take advantage of the lovely feature of the built-​in radio in the beds, you get to share in their choices. I’m not really a fan of trying to relax to the lulling sounds of Night Ranger or Styrker. Sun Co., any chance you could offer folks cheap earbuds instead? Many thanks!

Great tanning salon! Staff is super friendly and great selection of beds. Have great prices on tanning packages! Once you are a member they have deals throughout the year and nine dollar Sundays all day, just bring cash as Sunday deal is cash only. Would highly recommend to friends that want a sun kissed glow.
