The Pirates Cave

It was sort of a strange place but they fulfilled a niche. I believe they are closed now. Kind of sorry to see them go. Rocker and sports Tee’s, smokie supplies, Goth items. I guess there isn’t enough business to make it work.

I went here for the first time today. The shop it self is dirty, unorganized and cluttered. Even when walking in you see the word «faggot» spray painted on the glass & the front doors are made of ply wood (I assume someone threw a brick through it). The shops worker is wicked sketchy. He tried selling us a Vape pen for double what it’s worth. When we said we were not interested; he said he needs to make a sale because he needs to get his tooth fixed. He ever showed us his broken tooth.,… Oh man this place is a joke.

New owner is way to pushy. I understand you want to make money but don’t make people feel bad for not buying what you want them to buy. Used to come in all the time now that will stop.

This place is A-​Ok! Guys are always willing to work with you and throws in bonuses. He definitely takes care of locals and regulars. Give it a try.

This place has recently been bought over by a new owner and let me tell you… the guy is a charmer. He knows his shop and is willing to work with anyone as long as you’re nice and have time to hangout. We really appreciated him taking the time to look high and low (no pun intended) for the perfect product we needed and he gave us an awesome price just because we thanked him for all his help!
I also want to add that we previously went to mighty Quinn and were unable to find what we were looking for.

I’ve been coming here for a few years because the old owner was always willing to haggle and gave me some great deals on grinders and pieces. Imagine my surprise going in two days ago and meeting the new, incredibly friendly owner. I just picked up a new bowl, but unfortunately it was the wrong size. When I went back the next day (honestly, expecting the same treatment I got at Mighty Quinn where they said «no way»), I was surprised again to have them not only exchange the bowl, but he gave me another free!
They are remodeling the shop and added all new lighting, so you don’t feel like a criminal going in anymore. Very friendly staff and I’ll definitely be buying my next piece from them.

I can’t tell you how much I love this place! My old piece broke, and I went in for a replacement. After explaining what happened to the owner, he found a beautiful 9 mm thick piece and gave me a fantastic price. Along with that, he also tossed in a great, thick little bowl that had a 60 $ price tag on it for free. I am completely loyal to the Pirate’s Cave because of the great service and unbeatable prices. I’ll keep coming back for more!

This guy must sell some other stuff too because this place has high rent and isn’t doin a whole heck of a lot of business. Washed, ebay and chinatown are much better, I only go there on the off chance they have something I can’t find and need immediately, which means I have been there three times, never bought abything though, the vibe is dead.

Hahaa honestly I feel the other guy, but I would never expect a headshop policy to be anything other than «all sales are final.» Plus phones not a good idea. They’ve hooked me up, replaced broken shit, tossed me screens, and have even fronted me forty bucks. I love these guys, but don’t expect the world… quinn wouldn’t have replaced it either, at least when I was there
and seriously, who the hell drops 55 bucks on a grinder. come on bud

This place is BULL$@#% after a $ 55 grinder handle broke three days after getting it, the owner wants to cop attitude on the phone telling me I overpacked it. I’m not an idiot. Then he starts taking S*&T in arabic. I would paid the difference if he took that back and gave me credit then I’d spend another 60 and get a better one but HELL NO! Sorry Mighty Quinn for ever going into this sh$thole
