Quick service to get my ATT Uverse equipment returned. Easy to park too.

Not this store but UPS has a driver that cannot read. Package delivered to wrong apartments almost as bad as Cliff Claven at USPS…

I have been gong here for some time and they have generally been fine. However, last time I had do an Amazon return, I gave them the label, paid the one dollar and forgot about it. A few days later, it turns out the package went missing, and then afterwards it went all the way to New Jersey, and then came back to me in California. The problem – the guy at the store failed to take off the old labels. That caused us all sorts of problems getting it figured out. So any rate, you need to be a little careful here. Its a small business and they try their best but this was a major screw up.

This store is unlike no other… NO BS small talk crap… I come in for business and i get serviced quickly… Unlike other UPS stores. The staff is professional, quick & courteous. The owner is a great guy.

If you are going to be a Notary, get it right. This place failed to accomplish this fundamental requirement.

What a RACKET!!! This place is incredible! I understand that it’s a franchise and that they need to do a little retail marking up but this is INSANE!
I needed to ship some large paintings to be packed in one box. I took them to this UPS store and they wanted to charge me $ 238 to ship to TX. I could fly there and hand deliver for that price! That price included the $ 50 box fee. Huh.
I decided I could handle it myself. I went to Bellam storage and boxes (who will be getting a 5 star review on here next) who were incredibly helpful in helping me to get the materials for $ 20 and teaching me how to pack the paintings professionally.
Then, off to the UPS hub/​shipping center on Kerner (also VERY nice and helpful). How much did it cost to ship from there, you ask? Ohhhh…$ 58.00!!! That is a $ 120 markup folks! Ridiculous.
Boxing my own stuff took only a little extra effort. Not time I had to spare, really, but totally worth it!

I have to return this, would you print a label out for me? «WE don’t do that. You can use the computer over there, $ 2.50 blah blah.» In a totally gangsta and rude way. The UPS in my town does it and it’s to the discretion of the store owner. His computer wasn’t working… this is by far the worst UPS experience I’ve ever had. Except when they smashed a box marked fragile once. Never returning.

What more can you ask for?
Always friendly service, consistent delivery and wonderful access. I had moved from another UPS store that charged more for fewer services and less access.
They do 110% what they say they’re going to do. They’ve even directed me to take my package to the post office if I had the time (where it was considerably less expensive).

This is purely a service business, so subsequently a review will be based on the service you receive when walking into an establishment like this. This time it was just a blah, blah experience when dropping off a package already with a shipping label. The guy seemed pretty uninterested in anything that would entail work and was really not friendly at all.

Always helpful, stayed open a couple minutes late to help me ship a package when I was running late from work. The employees and owner are always very pleasant. I use this as my primary shipping store.

This review in no ways reflects on the employee’s of the store. They have always been more than helpful and courteous.
I had been a customer (mailbox) of this UPS Store #2623 for more than 13 years, since before it was a UPS store. I use the box for my business correspondence and receiving of product. I also pay their exceedingly inflated prices for shipping occasionally, because it was convenient
When I told the old owner I would be having big boxes delivered his response was «that is what we are here for». The big boxes are usually TV’s and are big, but never have the boxes sat more than a few hours in the store. I pay for my box a year at a time, and have always done so.
When the renewal notice arrive in my mailbox this year, I thought it was higher, but paid it anyway. I have no problem with small yearly adjustments, but when i compared this years «rent» to last years, it was doubled.
When I asked the owner, in-​person, about the doubling of the rent, inquiring if he had a reason or why I did not receive notification, he responded with (verbatim quote) «well you know, its like any business, you just raise the rates.» When I asked again about notification he shrugged his shoulders. I asked for my small package that was behind the counter and when he walked away I told the guys behind the counter that I have two boxes coming in on Friday. When The owner returned he said, «um yeah, that’s why I raised your rate, you get so many big boxes».
I have absolutely no problem with paying more for the service, I mentioned it to the owner a couple of years ago and his response was «just get it the same day as it comes in».
But to be met with such indifference about doubling rates with no notice, something that would lose me customers and any referrals in my business, I feel compelled to write a negative review.
In my opinion, alienating loyal, long time customers is not the way to keep a business running, at best it will lose customers and generate bad reviews.

This is a great store and I am always coming back here to send out all my packages! I came in the other day to send a package and was a little stressed. The owner Tom was super helpful and friendly. The store was clean and everyone that walked in was greeted, it was such a nice change from other unfriendly stores. Thanks so much for the great service!

I went in to the The UPS Store #2623 (in Montecito Plaza) for Notary service. They were so helpful. There was a line for shipping and notary, it was very busy at the end of the night. Both gentlemen helped everyone, commenting «I will be right with you, thank you for waiting».
Once Bill started helping me with my needed Notary, it went quickly and smoothly. I said I would return whenever I had to do this again they were so pleasant.

Seems like reviews for this place are all over the map. Ive had ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ experiences here, depends on the mood of who is working there. I come here regularly and they are either really helpful or a pain in the ass to deal with. But ya kno, I think id probably have a sour puss face on if I was dealing with everyone elses mail and such so im going to go ahead and give a 3 star raiting cuz when its good its good when its bad its bad

Great, helpful employees, good experiences each time I go there. A stark contrast to the LAME and RUDE Mill Valley store.

i’m shocked no one has reviewed this place yet.
i decided to send my family’s gifts via UPS because I didn’t want to deal with the post office, but i’m totally regretting that decision right now. let me start from the beginning…
Saturday, not too busy, suprising.
Cost of shipping of a not so big/​heavy package to Philadelphia before ¹²⁄₂₅: $ 46 and change
Cost of shipping of a not so big/​heavy package to Philadelphia around ¹²⁄₂₈: $ 15 and change
Me losing 10 minutes of my life that i’ll never get back because the dude who was helping me decided to stop in the middle of my transaction to help some jacka$$ who can’t fill out a certified receipt: AGGREVATING
Lack of acknowledgement that he just wasted 10 mins of my life and temper: EVEN MORE AGGREVATING
So it’s Monday… I’m on
to track the package. The response in bright red reads something along the lines of «there’s no shipping information for the tracking number you provided”= Me, panicked.
I called the store, spoke to tom and so far has made more effort to help than anyone else in there. I read him the tracking number from the receipt I was given. Nothing. Nada. What package??? = Me, on the verge of being livid and even more panicked.
tom offered to take my number to call me back after some investigating. Five minutes go by, the cell phone rings, i sigh a bit of relief until he said «what’s your name and the zip code of where its going? i’ll have to call you back, still can’t find it.»
more panic…
phone rings again, dude tells me they found it. good.
still not very pleased with their customer dis-​service from Saturday, but tom earned them this one star. thanks tom, maybe the others should learn from you.
