Drove from San Jose, difficult to find. Got here lights on and sign says open. Arrived at 2:52pm. Note on door said«back at 4:15». UPS Left not on door at 2:44. Unfortunate as I am from out of town, am hosting a huge event tomorrow afternoon and wanted to purchase items from local businesses. This business just lost about $ 300-$ 600 as I was going to pick up loose beads as well as jewelry as gifts for about 50 women. Frustrated, disappointed and angry as I type this because I went an hour out of way to get here. An acquaintance referred me. I have to be somewhere at 4:00pm so no time to wait.

Best Bead Shop, to say the least! I am just beginning to start my business, where beaded work is part if my product line. Nonetheless this facility & it’s staff are just wonderful, they are knowledgable and willing to assist in any and all issues you may have, not to mention the space available to work on your crafts, in their shop. They have an array of beads, all of which equally pull me in, wanting to create & embark on a new adventure of beaded self expression! It’s very easy to get drawn in for hours on end, dwelling into the world or potential pieces of art. Alas, my search for the perfect bead store is over.

I don’t know about pricing but Sanjay and Chitwan could not have been more helpful when I wanted custom jewelry for my daughter’s wedding. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the results, both for my outfit and my daughter’s wedding ensemble.

I’ve made 2 trips to the store and found it closed both times — the visits were made during their posted hours of operation. Will not be making another attempt.

I was completely amazed at the selection in this store. I met the owner and he was not only helpful, but very nice. Love the place, love the people. Just wish it was open on Sunday!

I can’t tell you how surprised I am to see any negative reviews about this shop. I first met the owners(who I assume the reviewers are referring to, since they are the ones working in the store 24 – 7)when they first opened their doors in downtown Danville. I used to walk my Yorkie, Bruzer by there every day and became very familiar with their store. I had things made and bought some items off the shelf. I found both of them charming and very talented in their jewelery making abilities. They also repaired things of mine for next to nothing that I brought in from time to time. Yea, sometimes I have to agree that I thought a price on something might be a little high but with a little«discussion» we were always able to come to an agreement that worked for all and I have some beautiful ‘one of a kind’ pieces to show for it that I get many compliments on. I was sad to see them move to San Ramon butsonn after my husband was promoted and I moved to Pennsylvania. Makes me wonder about the demeaner and attitudes of the people who gave the«unfriendly» reviews, because I NEVER experienced any unpleasantness, not even once. I miss you guys. Bruzer says, Ruuufff! :o) Nancy West

WORST Bead Shop more like. okay, great quality and selection the only pro. CONS: wayyyy overpriced, and all those people are controlling and have pissy attitudes. ALL of them! No biz from me, buh bye. Even if they had ok stuff I might buy if the customer svc. was top shelf. Best Bead Shop? Um, no. Haughty bead shop? More fitting.

Terrible service. I had an anklet that broke. And reluctantly found a bead store. I went there one day and spent about 3 hours repairing and restringing my anklet. Spent quality time there and making changes to my anklet. Needless to say I was going to spend about $ 50 on more beads. And at the end changed my mind and spent $ 8.20. And told her to keep the Change in good faith and karma out of a $ 10 because I also spent a lot of time there. That night my anklet broke off from the clamp. It didn’t hold In place. On top of loosing the screw on the magnet the most vital piece to the connection, for extra protection. Being that you walk around a lot. I was reluctant to find this magnet with a screw. It is hard to find it. And regular screw clasps are thin and break off. So not only did I loose the most vital part to the whole anklet. It won’t stay on. Now I have to find another clasp. So I went back in the next day early morning and explained to her what happened. Even the day before I asked her if I should superglue the crimp for extra protection. «no it won’t come off» Well it did. So I re-crimped it. And I figure I will redo it at home. And she charges me $ 3 for less than a half foot of string and crimps. Total rip off. Very unpleased. You would think she could just give it to me. Being that I already technically paid for it the day before. Yes it was donation based and out of good faith. Lesson learned. Business is just business. And karma will come back unto those.

This place rocks! I come here a couple times a month to pick out semi-precious stone beads and Swavarski beads for my home-made earrings that I make often! The shop is newly decorated and looks so beautiful! The owners are sweethearts and they’re even pet friendly! Really rad people. I love the stone collections and the beads. The prices are very decent and the atmosphere is great! God bless Samantha

I hosted a party here for my mom’s club and the owner set up a table for us with a very nice tablecloth so I could lay out food and beverages. All of my friends made some beautiful stuff and had a great time eating and drinking. If you have never made jewelry before walking in the door for the first time might overwhelm you. But don’t worry the staff is extremely helpful, they want to help you make the perfect piece. They won’t let you leave unless you are satisfied with your purchase. The shop is well lit, and sparkling clean. They host all kinds of parties and I think a birthday party for some pre-teen or young teen girls would be a huge hit. The shop has an excellent selection of charms, stones, beads and all the gear you would need to make jewelry.

I met Chitwan when the had the Danville location. What a gentleman and great person. Sincere, honest and very kind. I came in with a necklace that I purchased for my wife years ago in Hawaii made of semi-precious stones. Chitwan helped me fix it, repair the clasp and sort out how to put it all together. Was so impressed that he took the time to do that with me, so I was able to go take it home and show my bride she could now again wear her necklace. Small acts of kindness speak louder than words. What I came away with that day is that this is the kind of person that I want to see succeed in business. And that is why I plan on heading over this afternoon to see his new store and buy some beads! If there is truth to the belief that positive energy and love flow from these beads, this is the place to buy them.

This really is one of the best bead shops in the Bay Area(yes, I’ve been to almost all of them!) They just moved to San Ramon from their downtown Danville location. Combined, I’ve been here three times. I thought their Danville location was great, but their new San Ramon store is event better! It’s huge! The selection at this shop is truly fantastic, in terms of both strands and single beads. I’m into gemstones, and they definitely satisfy my needs(and wants:)) Prices range from inexpensive to slightly pricey. Overall, I think they are reasonably priced. Plus, the people who work there are very nice! I always stop by when I’m in town from LA. This place is definitely worth a look if you’re nearby!

It really is THE best bead shop! I brought in a little 7 year old friend with me to make bracelets and both of the owners were so helpful and sweet. We stayed over an hour and had the best time creating our masterpieces. Lots of selection. Oh. My. Word. So much to choose from! Have fun and plan on staying awhile.

LOVE this little shop. I purchased a vintage 1940’s necklace a while back, but it had gone unworn because it was too short. The owner found a matching chain and expertly lengthened it for me while I waited, and only charged for supplies. When I stopped by, I was visiting from NYC and now wish I had brought some of my other jewelry items for repair — they do a truly fabulous job at a fair price. There’s also an extensive selection of beads, semi-precious stones, and pendants from around the world, enough to satisfy any jewelry addict! Next time I’m out in the Bay Area I plan to hole up here for an afternoon and make a necklace or two. One of my favorite boutiques in Manhattan stocks gorgeous handmade jewelry but the prices are astronomical — $ 400 and up for a beaded necklace. It’s nice to know I could make one here for a fraction of the price. Overall, great place to buy a gift or make something for yourself. I love it here and so will you.

I am always looking for a great place in town where I can get supplies for my work. This bead shop has a great variety of chains and semi-precious stones. The owners really know their stuff and have been in the business for years! I recently moved to California and I live in Walnut Creek, but I drive to Danville weekly just to go to the this bead shop! Even though I dont use the space, I love that they have an area for you to work on your creations there(when I worked at a bead shop in SF people begged us to have the space for customers to work in the store and I think its really important for a bead shop)

As I mentioned in my review of another store, Beaded Bliss– this store, although completely separate, opened almost at the same time. They do have a better location and have a layout more conductive to a bead store than the other. I was on a mission and they didn’t have what I needed so I only glanced briefly, but they looked to be fine with all of the usual stuff — seed beads, charms, crystal. They also had a sign that said free beading class for HS students(which is in close proximity). On the way out the door(back in Dec), there was a rack with plastic Mardigras beads and scarves??? — So I left with a little question mark as if they will move into more of an import store theme? but maybe i misread that… future reviewers can be the judge.
