So far so good! I have a smaller car and it cost me $ 25 for an oil change (extremely cheap for this area!!!). My appointment was at 11 AM and they were finished at 11:. Nice friendly guys, I would come back again!

My girlfriend’s truck started to vibrate on her way from Seattle to Mexico. Over the phone, I told her it sounded like a U-​Joint, and asked her to stop at San Ramon Auto Repair. San Ramon Auto Repair couldn’t get her in, so she decided to go to D&K (I wouldn’t have recommended it given the reviews on Unilocal). But, they quickly went for a test drive, hoisted the car, saw the problem immediately and fixed it without charge and wouldn’t accept a tip! Amazing! So, I decided I should write a review. Thanks again.

The place is piece of shit! If you don’t wanna pay for your car don’t ever bring car over there. They don’t know their job!!! If I have –10 stars I would give them!!! I did go always over there and NEVER again. The lady hit my car last year, when was my car parked and I took to body shop in Concord, a week after I CHANGE oil. The car was for two weeks in body shop and when I came to pick up the car the guy said there is no oil in your car, I said that’s not possible. Day after I went over there to check and they just look and they said everything is fine. No it’s not. I went today in Chrysler to change oil and the guy said I’m surprise that your engine didn’t blow out. So I left my car until Friday. My advice is stay away from them as much as possible!!!

As a woman I always feel like the mechanics are always trying to rip me off,
telling me that my car need this and that fixed.
But at D & K Tires and Repairs I didn’t feel pressure to get more done then what I come in for.
They were honest with me and if something doesn’t need fix, they will tell me.
I really appreciate the sincerity and honesty from the staffs there.

Have you ever just wanted to have your «Go to Guy» for your car repair that you can trust? I found mine a few years ago when my husband had our car tires replaced with Kobi at D and K. He has been taking care of ALL of our car need since that day, he is not just a tire guy, Kobi can do everything. No job is to big or to small.
After a few hard years during the down turn with 1 kid in college with another now about to start, purchasing a couple of new cars to replace our aging cars still is out of the question. Kobi has come to the rescue. I have been with Kobi for 3 years now. He is my «Go to Guy» mechanic. He is honest and takes pride in his work. This is a quality a hard to find in a mechanic yet alone any tradesman. Kobi and his staff are always helpful, explaining the issue, outlining my choices to help me make an informed decision. On top of this Kobi’s has very reasonable prices. WOW, A rare find in today’s automotive specialist world.
I would like to say Thank You to Kobi and his staff, especially Angel, for all the help and support you have given me over the years.
I’m so appreciative that I have found my «Go to Guy» that I can trust.

I spoke with the owner over the phone and scheduled an appointment for an oil change. I was going out of town so my wife took our car there the next day. She arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment, but the owner seemed irritated about that and reminded her in a rude tone of voice that she will have to wait 40 minutes. My wife reluctantly waited even though we had made an appointment.
She presented a $ 15.95 Synthetic Blend oil change coupon to the owner. This coupon was directly from D&K. The owner refused to honor that price and charged her $ 25 claiming that our 2005 Acura TSX (sedan) «takes extra oil» (so he must charge extra). This was a blatant lie. I’ve owned this car for 5 years. It doesn’t take «extra oil». Acura recommends 4.2 quarts of oil for this vehicle. D&K coupon advertised up to 4.5 quarts of synthetic blend oil. Even with tax, this oil change should have been $ 17.30.
The extra money isn’t an issue. The dishonesty is what we take issue with. D&K has lost incalculable future business from us due to that.

Kobi save my life, I bought my car few months ago and I was thinking that my tires in a good condition Unfortunately, no, Kobi find The front axle on the passenger side front is not good, Kobi replace everything in 24 h thank you !!!

My review is about customer service, I’ve only had my oil changed here a couple of times because he has good prices when it come to life jobs. But one sat I showed up after 12, about 1 when they should have been closed and I thought I need my oil changed sooooo bad and I haven’t had a chance to make it with work schedule and taking care of the kids, so I roll in and after waiting for ago 3 or 4 min before being «greated» I plead my case to the owner and let him know I’m a return customer and it would only take 15min. He insisted I return another day without so much as a heartfelt I’m sorry but I can’t. He just turned around and left.
So on my part I know I could have come in earlier and salvaged this relationship but customer service mean everything thing
.and I’m willing to pay a little more for that so I won’t be returning.

HELL NO! If you absolutely do not know anything about cars you will sit and listen to this B.S. they feed you here and believe it because you feel they are cheap in their prices. Cheap is not good. Kobe is a complete A-​hole. I took my car here for years mostly for oil changes which they had a reasonable price, BUT I found out that they were putting in the wrong oil which screwed my car up in the long run. They always can take your business here, because they do not get a lot of business. Kobe the owner is arrogant, rude and has the worst customer service. They charged me twice for a $ 400 parts and labor for something that was under warranty for a year and when I caught it the second time that I paid for the same thing within 9 months after checking my receipts he had the audacity to get mad at me and say tough crap? Zero comp nothing not even a sorry so I let that go, (stupid mistake).
Then I recently had an issue with my car and he popped off at me, after I was on the phone with a a friend who is familiar with cars and told me what was wrong with my car and told me what to ask the mechanic, Kobe was furious and turned on me by yelling and being rude, which he had the nerve after to say he was not a mechanic and then started playing games and considering he had to call someone on the phone to see what the problem could possibly be, since he didn’t know. It was not brain science, but he lacks in brain if you try having a conversation with him you will see this.
I went elsewhere and they fixed it, showed me what they fixed and it was very reasonable in price. The new mechanic said right off the bat after looking at my car what it could possibly be (just like what my friend said it could be). If you notice no cars at D&K that’s because they do not know what they are doing. The new place I went to was full in and out of the garage and the customers waiting next to me had nothing but good things to say. If you want to know send me a message, otherwise good luck because this place took me for a ride too long. Kobe is a piece of crap. I will never give this place my business even if they were the last mechanic on earth. I rather go to school to learn how to fix my car on my own than take it here.

Honest and Auto Repair Shop are words I never used in the same sentence until D&K! I have been coming here for years and have continued to be a happy and loyal customer. I have referred many friends and most recently my boss! Kobi is always helpful, knowledgeable and will be the first to tell me when I don’t need something done! They have continued to be the most reliable and the lowest price for all my automotive needs. I go to them for my standard maintenance and oil changes but they have also given me the best deal on tires, a battery and minor repairs!

***Straight Bait and Switch!*** Appointment scheduled and I bring $ 15.95 coupon… Owner says cheapest they can do the oil change is $ 46 due to a «special filter» needed. What a waste of time and gas!

Was looking for an inexpensive oil change (and an honest mechanc in the area) and found this place on Unilocal.Like the reviews said, Kobi was very friendly. In addition, I appreciate how upfront he was about how much things cost — no surprises. It’s a small shop, but they seem to work hard and do an awesome job here. Check it out!

Had my oil changed here and they were friendly and quick — really good prices too. I was only here for about 30 minutes and everything was done as promised.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Very affordable. I have taken my car there on several occasions and have been happy with their service and work.

I was referred to D&K about 3 years ago. They have worked on my car, my husbands truck, my daughters car, her boyfriends car. They must be doing something right. ;0)
They are very honest and inexpensive. They hold on to the parts so you can see them. I can not stress enough how honest and sincere they are. I wouldn’t want to take my car to anyone else. Try them out yourself and see!

This is a great shop. They fixed a few cars for me and for 2 friends. My friend Phyl was driving to LA that day and needed his brakes repaired before the trip.
Sam took care of it. He gave Phyl a fair price a good job and best of all he was on the road to LA as promised by 2:30 that day. Thanks for the fast work on my friends car.

I was visiting San Ramon and realized that I was really in need an oil change. I checked Unilocal and found D & K was nearby and rated 4 stars, so I gave them a try. I called and they fit me almost immediately.
They changed the oil, topped off the fluids and inspected my car in less than 30 minutes. The best part is that it cost me $ 21.95! I was really impressed with these guys; they’re really sharp. They’re mechanics, not just oil changers. I will definitely use them in the future for services and maintenance.

I have never had a bad experience here. I always go here for an oil change, never more than $ 20. I’ve taken my car here several times along with my mom’s car.
I call them the day of and ask for an appointment, they are ALWAYS accommodating. If I want something early, they ask me to come in now or in an hour or two, if I want something late, they offer me something late. Extremely friendly guys.
Once I didn’t know how to change my windshield wipers and they even gave me a short tutorial. I feel like they’d be very open to questions and such. I wanted to ask them about my tire pressure but forgot to.
Oil changes usually take about 30 minutes, nothing special. You can walk to In-​N-​Out to grab lunch while you wait or you can walk to the Windmill Farms-​Produce to do some shopping.
