Well, I’m impressed! We bought all new furniture for our family room. We had the old stuff in our driveway for a month. We tried to give the stuff away on Craigslist and
and had no takers. We called the Salvation Army and Cancer Society. They came and rejected everything. I guess we really did need new furniture… yikes. I had already had my free bulky pick up for the year so that wasn’t an option. We were able to get our loveseat in our SUV and take that to the free dump day down on Davis St. but that literally took us three hours because there were so many people in line for the same thing.
I called Waste Management who quoted me a small fortune to come haul the remaining two pieces away and oh yeah, next week to boot. I thought that price was outrageous to until I called Got Junk and they were almost $ 100 more than Waste Management even after applying their $ 10 coupon. I won’t say what they were quoting, but let’s put it this way, you could go away for a weekend and have a lovely dinner with what they wanted to move this old stuff. This was now becoming a frustrating problem.
It started raining and the holidays are almost here, so, I went internet surfing and found these people. They quoted me a very reasonable and affordable price and they came and got the items right away. They were even able to get both items around my son-in-law’s car which was in the way because I couldn’t reach him to move his car. And, we can still have a lovely dinner. I will definitely use these guys again. Nice job guys.

Had a great experience with Operation Junk. I needed to get rid of a 90″ (3 seater) couch and two pairs of chairs before the end of the week. Everything was in good condition, but nonprofits wouldn’t pick up for resale and we hadn’t had much luck on Craigslist.
I called around, but the quotes were in the hundreds of dollars. OpJunk beat them by miles (MUCH more reasonable quote), were very communicative, were able to come the same day I called, and were prompt and courteous. And the quote ended up being the price I paid.
If I ever need this service again, or if you do, I’d go with them first thing with no hesitation.

I LOVE these guys! Great online scheduling. When I had a question about whether they could meet a day earlier, Matt answered the phone and was friendly, professional and accommodating.
Dan and Matt showed up on time, measured and provided a quote (very clear pricing). Upon agreeing, they started loading up the truck. It was that easy.
As if that wasn’t enough, when they were done they swept the driveway and even swept the garage.
I will DEFINITELY use them again and will highly recommend them to my friends.

As I promised from my earlier review that if I ever needed junk removal or hauling, I would be calling Matt and Dan from Operation Junk again. Well the need did arise… this time being a much bigger job. We just bought a new home and with it a lot of new furniture. We needed to have our old furniture hauled away from both the old and new home.
I was able to book an appointment two days following my call. Matt and Dan arrived on time and even called 30 minutes prior to confirm their arrival time. Upon arrival I showed them what needed to be hauled away and explained what the items were from the other location. They quickly worked up a quote and the work began. They were very quick in moving the furniture out of the house but were very careful as to not knick the paint on the walls.
After nearly filling the entire truck we went to the 2^nd location. When showing them the items I had described earlier, I had forgot about a couple of items. Matt and Dan told me not to worry about it and they would take those items as well. They had to work a bit to fit everything into one truck load but they got everything in there. They also helped me out moving a couple of heavy items into the house which is not part of their usual services they offer.
Both Matt and Dan make customer satisfaction their top priority and in both of my experiences with them they have gone above and beyond to ensure I am satisfied with the job they were hired to do. They not only haul your stuff away but they will also clean up the area to ensure it looks great.
Once again Matt and Dan, kudos to you both for being so customer focused. If you EVER need hauling services, do yourself a favor and call Matt and Dan at Operation Junk.

These guys were great! I had bookmarked 3 junk removal co’s on Unilocal.This was the only one to have a ph# on their website that said «text anytime.» The other two companies wanted you to call or e-​mail a contact form, and wait for a response, to set up a time for an estimate. I texted Operation Junk on a Saturday morning with what we had to get rid of, they responded a minute later with a price & said they could be at our house in an hour. I said we’ll take it.
They actually showed up only 35 min later after my text. They even took a few more things that my husband added on at the last minute and didn’t charge us extra.
Super fast service, reasonable price, ease of contact = A++!

So my client calls me and wants a referral to a hauling company. I gave her the number to the guy I’ve used in the past. He came out, did the first haul trip… never came back! I gave her a few more numbers… no response from anyone… Arrrrrgggghhh! So, I went online and searched Google. I found the guys from Operation Junk. I read their stunning reviews and called them. I told them I wanted to refer them to my client and asked them to take great care of her. They did! Just as they said, they called in the morning to let her know they were on their way. They got there on time. Did a great job! Here is what my client texted me after they left: «wow! I am amazed at Operation Junk. Done in 45 mins and my stress of an entire week! Thank u so much. I owe u a nice lunch» It is a TERRIFIC feeling to give a referral to a client and have them thank you like this. I called the guys to thank them personally. Don’t waste a moment thinking of who to call when you need hauling. These guys are the real deal! I will refer them forever! My sincere thank you to Team Operation Junk for keeping your work ethics and standards high and for running a great business with great customer service… and for making me look good ;-D

Operation Junk is fantastic! We were able to get the pick up scheduled quickly. Dan and Matt showed up right on time and were able to quickly haul away everything. They left the area they were clearing out spotless and they are very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a professional, reasonably priced and customer service focused company you should definitely give them a call. Love working with local businesses!

I needed these guys to help me clear out a nightmare estate clearing, and they were the answer to every need. I needed to schedule well in advance, and from out of town — no problem. I needed them to take nasty appliances away — no problem. There was a lot of newish stuff that should not have gone to the dump, and it didn’t — it was recycled. I surprised them with way more than they thought I had, and again, no problem. No, they’re not free, but you definitely get what you pay for. They communicate, they show up when expected, and they leave the space they clear clean. Pleasant and professional, I only wish I lived in the Bay Area so I could use them again. Thanks OJ!

Dan the man. I would recommend anyone to use Operation Junk vs the big hauling services. It was local and I support local businesses and you should too. They’re priced super reasonable, professional and focused on customer service.

They did a great job and I would recommend them to everyone. I scheduled a pickup the night before using there online system. They called me before to confirm the appt and arrived on time. The price was reasonable and I would use them again. I had a mattress and sofa I needed to get rid of because I was moving and was really nervous because I needed to be out my apt. the next day. They were extremely professional and I was satisfied with my service.

These guys are the best. Made my appointment online received an email confirmation immediately and an email reminder a few days before my appointment. My appointment was for today at noon they showed up at noon amazing no one shows up on time. I had a hot tub and other junk to be removed Matt gave me an estimate that was very fair. Very nice guys cleaned up after removing the spa and junk I will definitely use them again in the future. I have used other junk removal companies in the past and Operation Junk is by fair the best priced and reliable.

The guys at Operation Junk are top-​notch.
We had way too much junk that we have been storing in our garage and non-​profit pickups are restrictive and unreliable. I decided to contact Operation Junk and I’m glad I did.
I made an appointment via their website and immediately received an email confirmation. The day before my appointment, I received an email reminder. The morning of my appointment, they gave me a call to once again confirm my appointment.
They showed up with their big truck, introduced themselves, assessed the damage, gave me an estimate, loaded the truck up and I paid them via credit card. It maybe took them 5 minutes to load up 5 cubic yards. Feels so great to have all that space back!
The entire process couldn’t have been easier. They are affordable, quick and professional. I will definitely be using Operation Junk for any future cleanups.

My husband requested an estimate to have an old hot tub removed from the back yard of a house we purchased. When Dan and Matt came, we decided to have them do the job right away. They were able to do it that day after giving the quote. We were very happy with their services – the guys were professional and courteous with a fair price. They did a great, efficient job. I will never call another 1800 junk service again. These guys are local, clean, fast, nice, and cheap!!! What more do you want in a junk pick up service??? My yard is finally clean, and a happy wife is a happy life!
They also used an iPhone card swiper, which is ALOT more secure than alot of the other guys who right your number down on a work order.
