I have gone on Thursdays not for the market but for the food vendors. They have several different options which are reasonably priced. They have Lantern Catering Company which has a paleo burger that is out of this world and several other good places to eat. There is a small seating area and often times there is someone there playing music.

Such a small market. I usually come on Thursday mornings. Yeah they have a good variety of hot food, but I come for the fruits and veggies and they have usually just 2 – 3 stands with produce. Usually someone’s selling organic strawberries which is nice so I pick up some of those, but the other fruits I’m always skeptical about since they have rotted fast on me in the past.

Came here on a Thursday to get an idea where the San Ramon locals gather. While the Farmer’s market here was very small, the people working here were friendly, engaging, had good products. I could feel the dollars in my wallet leap from their place and into the hands of various venders. Darn, when that happens!

Adorable little farmer’s market. Small but sweet, and they still have a great display and variety of vegetables and fruits. Kettle Corn, pies, fresh baked breads and dessert breads, and only the friendliest people. And two blocks from my house? Swoon.

I love farmer’s markets. I’m addicted. This one is very very small which is fine but the amount of wild kids there is HUGE. I try and either go really early or really late to avoid parents who don’t monitor their children. The stands have great fruit and veggies but they are higher priced than the Saturday farmers market. I actually told one farmer this and he was really sweet and said to tell his daughter to sell me what I buy($ 14 pack of strawberries) for $ 12! I love these relationships. :). I’m very happy to be able to go on Wednesday and Friday. I do wish that the farmers were«truly» local.
