Food is awesome. I have been back several times. Only thing to be desired is faster service but, all in all good time.

Food gets five stars; however, service gets a 3 star rating. Let’s begin with the service, the server we had was slow. She seemed to be more interested in a smoke break than taking our order and getting our refills. But the food! The ranch dressing is to die for and is homemade … Seriously, I could drink the dressing! The gyro was also surprisingly good! The salad was fresh and sides were fresh and hot. I look forward to returning to try another entrée. Hopefully the service will match the quality food.

The food is really good but the service needs some work. Stood at the podium for ten minutes and then finally sat ourselves because no one ever came. They need more waiters.

Service is horrible! Guy did not even acknowledge me as I sat there for 5 minutes. Amazing! Never go to this place!

Not very appetizing. If that’s what a Chicago style pizza is then I won’t be returning any time soon. And the combo plate(app.) Not good at all. Sorry for me I just wasted my $ at this place.

Chicago pizza and Pub we think has gotten better. By that, I mean service. The food is pretty good, but I will say that the Chicken Ranch Pizza is nasty!!! It tasted like mayo was spread on the crust, topped with bland chicken, and very soggy romaine lettuce… there, you’ve been warned! The meat lovers, and spinach chicken pizzas are good. The wings are good, and both times we’ve recently visited, our servers were very friendly, and pleasure!

Their deep dish pizza is cheesy, delicious and cooked perfectly every time. Wings are meaty, crispy and flavorful. Service is good, staff is friendly. Prices are decent and drinks are strong. I am not giving a perfect 5 star rating because of the salad, which lacked ingredients and was boring old iceberg lettuce.(we ordered the antipasta salad which skimped on the meats and cheese).

We were stopping in for lunch and as we were entering the restaurant, there was an employee smoking within 15 feet of the front door. That is very unappetizing! When we sat down, we had a nice waitress, and ordered an some wings and it took at least 30 minutes. We ordered our meal which took a long time and when it came out it was cold. The food had no flavor and the place was old and dirty.

If you want to see girls wearing tank tops that are too small, with bright pink bra straps and shorts that barely cover anything, this is the place to go. The stars are because the food was realllly good but in the HOUR in took to get a salad and two burgers and a small pizza I saw the girls sit down and eat wings, talk at the counter and be on their phone texting. Our server, a guy with tattoos, was really nice and took good care of us. The atmosphere of the bar just seemed like they don’t really care about their customers.

The food is good here… I like their pizza and their gyro… Also the onion rings are really good. My only complaint is sometimes the service is really off… the waitresses are always very very nice, but sometimes it seems like there is only one taking care of the whole dining area. And sometimes it seems to take a while to get food and refills. Lots of action at the bar too. So sometimes it’s a little noisy… But that doesn’t bother me.

My hubby and I went in and each had 4 beers out of the tap… bad bad idea! We got home and had bad things happen out of both ends. Horrible painful headaches. These were premium beers not crap, really makes me think the place is just not cleaned and maintained properly. We ate there once to and got sick so we said we would not eat there again but beers? We both woke up this morning after a rough night feeling like we had partied all night with hard liquor. My advice stick to bottles… and I would nominate this place for Bar Rescue. Ugh it really sucks we don’t have a decent bar in town to eat and drink at.

The food was good. Order prime rib sliders. Hamburger sliders. Cobb salad. Chicken sliders. Blue moon and a nice little cocktail. We got the food before the drinks, it took about 20 minutes for a refill. Only part that went wrong.

If you want to watch sports and drink beer, this place is fine. Just don’t go for the food. Pizza was tasteless, Domino’s in the 80s came to mind. That’s when the crust used to taste like the box. The sauce had little to no flavor and the pepperoni was sliced paper thin. The Chicago dog could’ve been good if the bun had been toasted and the meat had been heated, but a cold hot dog on a mushy bun? Not good. Save yourself the time and effort and just go somewhere else, there are lots of great pizza places and this isn’t one if them.

Service was terrible, waitress was nice enough but not very attentive. Manager Linda was the only person that knew what she was doing but that didn’t matter because the owners treat everyone like poop. If we were sitting at the bar ordering shots and getting over poured and FREE drinks we might have had a better time. Atmosphere is… blah. Food was ok but the staff were smoking all the time, the guy in the kitchen was an asshole to his staff. We ordered a large stuffed pepperoni pizza which wasn’t too bad. Little expensive and took a while to get out. Find another place to spend your time, beside who likes looking a fat country chicks anyway.

We came to this place when it first opened and were disappointed in the service, atmosphere and quality of food. We wrote it off as growing pains of a new restaurant, but decided that we didn’t want to go back… until this past weekend. A lot of time has passed since our last visit, but nothing as far as the service, atmosphere, or quality of food had gotten better, my salad was warm, and the beer was flat. The place is dirty and disorganized, people seemed to be scrambling all over the place trying to figure out what to do next. I will give them props for showing the UFC fight with no cover at the door… they really need to step up their game if they want more patrons.

Food is good, prices are good, and service is adequate… Server was okay, but appeared to be one of two people working in the entire restaurant, so she obviously didn’t have a lot of time for serving.

I’ll keep it simple so you don’t have to waste your time reading this like we wasted our time eating here. Service was terrible, waitress was nice enough but not very attentive. Might of been a different story if we were sitting at the bar ordering shots and buying her songs off of the jukebox like some of the other lovely patrons but this was not the case. Atmosphere is… blah. How can you hang a sox pendent next to a cubs pendent being a true Chicago fan. Pick one. Food was decent. We ordered a large stuffed pepperoni pizza which wasn’t too bad. Little expensive and took a little while to get there but again was somewhat expected. Long story short. Thank God for the free gift certificate or this would’ve been a waste of the afternoon. Just kidding. Lets be real. I would’ve never gone here if it weren’t for that and would’ve settled for the filly b’s next door.

Stopped by here for lunch with the family to give this place a try. I’m from Chi-town myself, so when I saw the sign go up I had to make a pit stop here and check things out. My first impression walking in the door completely mirrors the review that Rachel wrote. The all-black interior struck me immediately — it is very dark inside and kind of gloomy. Not really sure I understand what prompted them to go with this kind of décor — there is absolutely nothing colorful inside this place to give it any life. The bar portion of this pub actually looks very nice — but I also don’t understand why the hookahs are sitting on the wall behind the bar. I could not figure out if they were going for a pub atmosphere or nightclub type vibe. So, our order goes in: two kids pizzas, one mushroom swiss burger and a philly cheesesteak. Ten minutes into our order, our server comes back to inform us that the chef«just discovered» that they are out of mushrooms. Okay, so now the mushroom swiss burger is essentially a cheeseburger and my philly cheesesteak is, well. something resembling a philly cheesesteak. 15 – 20 minutes later our food arrives. The cheesesteak actually tasted pretty good. No, it wasn’t the best one I have ever had, but it passed for standard bar fare. The kids pizzas also get good marks(I snuck a bite or two to sample them for myself). And now for the bad. The menu says the burgers are made with fresh Angus ground beef, but the burger my wife ordered tasted like a preformed frozen patty. It was okay, but you could easily tell that they did not just make this patty to order. The steak fries looked great, but when we bit into them we quickly determined that they had not spent enough time in the fryer. Our server Alex was top notch. He was friendly and did his best to take care of us, promptly refilling drinks and asking us if we needed anything while we ate. There is wi-fi active in the building(my iphone detected it), but it appears to be locked down to pub employees only. We did find it interesting that a younger guy sitting in the corner booth spent the entire time we were there on his laptop surfing the web. Our server and some of the other employees approached him several times, so I’m assuming that this guy was the manager. Overall, I’m disappointed. Whenever I see the words«Chicago», «Pizza» or «Pub», I expect to find Chicago-style hot dogs or italian beef sandwiches — none of which were on their menu. They did have an «italian/bbq sandwich», but it sounded like some kind of hybrid of what most Chicago food lovers order. In a depressed economy, businesses being run like this will never survive. Someone should be ensuring that the food cooler is stocked and that the quality of the food is spot on. That someone should be the manager, but I got the distinct impression that whoever that is, they either aren’t really focused or don’t really care. UPDATE: Similar to Becky M, I also received messages from fake posters Grace Y and Dakota C, defending the restaurant owner, the food and trying to explain the hookahs. I get it — they’re cool and you smoke them on the patio. So what does that have to do with a Chicago-style restaurant? NOTHING. Oh, and please spare me the sob story about how hard the owner is working at running three businesses. Anyone serious about running a joint like this takes this criticism constructively and uses it to improve their operation… not send out their attack drones after people that write unfavorable reviews. I join Becky M — you lose a star on my review now, and I won’t be back to give you a second chance.
