Taco Bueno

Drive thru wait time is unexplainable. Check your order when you get it — they often have it wrong. Someone needs to do something with the management of this location!

Well I’m starting to learn that TB locations can range from very good to terrible. This one is for sure at the bottom of the scale. 20 – 30 minutes to get one simple order, a lousy taco platter which usually comes out in five minutes or less. Several people were bringing back their orders because they were wrong. I suppose that was part of the delay also. This place was like a social gathering from Mayberry or the Twilight Zone, not sure which. All the employees had a confused dumbfounded look on their face like it was their first day on the job. Two stars because the manager apologized and comped two extra tacos which I think was from that order also being wrong. Last but not least, the food was borderline terrible.

Screw this place… they messed up my order in the drive thru and were hateful when I asked them to fix things. I had mostly burritos, and they were nasty looking like they just poured it all in the wrapper and closed it. He had a problem with the fact that I expected them to be marked or wrapped differently to distinguish which one was which… it was dirty and smelled funny inside. The bathroom was disgusting. As I was leaving, another customer was going inside from the drive through with a messed up order.

HOLY CRAP RUN AWAY NOW.
Ate here with a friend at lunch. Both of us got nacho salads, he got beef, I got grilled chicken. I also got an order of chips and queso. So, my chips on my nacho salad are soggy, the chili/​cheese/​mix at the bottom looks like puke, and the chicken tastes weird. I got through a few bites because I was so hungry before I realized that things didn’t taste right. I am a diabetic and I was severely shaky and needed to eat, so I was wolfing things down. When I stopped to take a drink, I noticed that things tasted and smelled weird. So I put my salad to the side and opened up my queso to eat that instead. Wow. The cheese is green guys — freakin’ green. It was a weird texture, like not liquid like it should be, but a weird solid-​ish but moveable mass. And, there is a watery film on top of it to boot.
I ended up throwing my whole damn lunch away. Guess this ‘olé diabetic didn’t need to eat anyway. That’s cool.
The employees here were not friendly, and some of them were actually complaining about customers coming in to get food. Well, you’re a restaurant right?
I’m writing this about an hour later. I still haven’t been able to eat anything else. I want to vomit. Called the health department and complained. Tried to call the Taco Bueno, but gee, their phone has been busy this whole time. I’m going to be calling the regional person for Taco Bueno. No one should have to worry about getting sick somewhere they eat. Especially someone that already has health problems, such as being a diabetic or anything else.

I love taco bueno! The one at every other bueno is spectacular, except this one,. The food is horrible and last time I was there there Food all over every table there was no where to sit! Everyone had to clean there own tables! And employees were sitting at tables on there phones when the place was packed to the gills! There was also trash all over the floor it was a nightmare. It was so bad I called and complained to the manager and state phone number for all taco buenos. They told me I would be receiving coupons and money back for my terrible experience. I NEVER GOT ANY THING! Other customers were also calling as I was everyone was clearly upset, it was a terrifyingly disturbing experience, it’s only this one location.

Ate at Bueno the last time I passed through Sand Springs. The food was expensive and mediocre (at best). The restaurant was dirty and the staff seemed to have little inclination to clean it. I felt a little sick about a half hour after eating. Not a pleasant experience and I won’t be back.
