This is a complicated review for me because in general I greatly dislike Wal-Mart as a whole. I worked at this location for a little over a year in 2003 and in general all of the employees were very nice and I had a good time working with everyone. The store was clean and well kept and even when I go back now 10 years later it is still fairly put together well. Expect to get the service you’d expect from Wal-Mart(disconnected and bored), but anticipate you’ll get it with a smile. The last time I was there was a few months ago to buy some fabric. The person in the fabric department was either taking their standard 40 minute break or on lunch. Directly across from me was electronics and they kept eyeballing me and finally after 25 minutes of standing at the counter with fabric rolls in my arms they came over and asked if they could help me. It would have been a lot faster if they’d just left some scissors on the counter and directions on how to use the telzon and let people check themselves out. But again… it is Wal-Mart and the employees here are nice, but it is Wal-Mart.

Yeah, I KNOW its WalMart but honestly, I had a great experience here. I purchased two pair of panties — DON’T EVENCOMMENTONWHATTHATSAYSABOUTME — and they were $ 4.50 each. At check out there was a flag on the computer saying there was a discrepancy. One pair came up at $ 2 and one was $ 4.50. The customer service lady insisted on making both of them $ 2 — and I WASN’T ASKING! The store was clean and organized. And everyone was NICE! We almost ran over a couple in the parking lot and they waved us on while smiling. THAT would never happen in Chicago.
