Bayside Tavern

You have to try this if you are in the area.
A local dive bar but with reasonable drink prices and great food. Try the yak burger (make sure to ask for it to be medium or rarer). The homerun burger is great (half sausage and half burger). The buffalo chili is always good. The pizza is very good too but a little too spicy for the kids.
You ABSOLUTELY have to have their sauerkraut balls every time you go — they are locally made and they are the best.
They have a pool table. They «allow» smoking so be forewarned if that matters. They also have drive through beverage and frozen wild game for sale.
Look for the white building on the corner with the fiberglass buffalo on the roof.
Nothing comes out of the kitchen fast but who cares, you are at the bar — order another drink.

Hilarious local spot that’s worth seeing. Really close to Crystal Rock Campground. It has a drive through entrance where you tell them what you’d like and it’s delivered to your car. We picked up some local farm fresh eggs, caribou summer sausage, buffalo rib eyes, & Yuengling without exiting our car. The bar was inside, we didn’t have time to check it out but it looked like a biker bar of some sort. Great road trip stop for some local culture if you dare.
