This was one of a handful of restaurants open in Sandusky on Christmas, and we really didn’t want to go to Denny’s! The wait was long and the staff was disorganized, however they were dealing with a ton of takeout orders. There are only 10 or so tables inside the restaurant which looks a bit dingy honestly, so we didn’t have many expectations. Once we got the food we were blown away. The Egg Drop soup was fantastic, well seasoned and tasty without being a gelatinous mess. The Egg Roll had just come from the deep fryer and just tasted good. We tried three main courses and loved all three of them. We each had equal portions of Sweet and Sour Pork, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and Szechuan Chicken. You could taste the use of quality ingredients in all of them. It was a truly delicious Christmas dinner. One of the best parts was how affordable the meal was. We spent just over $ 10 per person. We will definitely come back the next time we come to Cedar Point.

Mings is a small town restaurant surviving in a growing town. If you want fast, «chain» Chinese food this is not your place. Their food reflects quality not speed and I am 100% okay with that. I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Mings for years, even back when I ate meat and I can say they have a nice variety of different dishes along with the classic dishes most people associate with eating Oriental foods. They cater to vegetarians and I appreciate that. Sometimes you may get a waitress with broken English but their service is always spot on! I’m so glad Sandusky still has this unique restaurant in this world of clone chain restaurants. If you are in the area and craving some good food stop in and give Mings a try!

This place is not even worth giving one star. There wasn’t an option of giving 0 star, so lucky them — they get one more than they actually deserve. The food was such a disappointment, and so was the restaurant’s service. The waiter had no freaking idea what she was doing, giving my party no plates and no chopsticks until we had to ask her for some. Not to mention, the ambience of the place was unpleasant with the restaurant’s awful stench and the attitude the employees were giving their customers. Food — not even worth mentioning about, since the cook messed up one of my party member’s order and the«fried rice» my other member had was literal shit. The rice itself was dry, crumbly, and had no elements to call it rice except for the fact that it looked like one. All I can say is, this restaurant should be thankful that the Asian population in Sandusky isn’t so big. If it was, there would be more Chinese restaurants opening, and when there are more Chinese restaurants, this one would probably close down in a heart beat.

Very good service. Ordered general tsos and orange chicken and fried rice. High quality food. Very good textures and balanced flavors. Very bubbly soda pop. Everything was made to order and was piping hot when it hit the table. If you like fresh Chinese food this is the best place in town.

I am pregnant and was craving Chinese food. After reading the reviews I had high hopes but, sadly, was extremely disappointed. I ordered chicken with assorted vegetables and a side of crab ragoon. This was possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what all these other positive reviews are about but there is no way they were eating the same place I was. Don’t waste your time or money.

Always great food. I travel a lot and this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants any where. Great food and reasonable prices. Hot and sour soup is awesome.

The food was ok but I’ve had much better elsewhere. Not a memorable experience either positive or negative.

I have to agree with Casey R., the hot and sour soup is really good! We went as a family and ordered Kung Poa Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Pork with fried rice. All of these dishes were good and the mustard has a real kick, which was nice. The service was great and really friendly. Would definitely come back, so if you’re in the area this is the place to go for chinese.

Best Chinese in the area. Finding myself crossing the county line to patronize this establishment quite often. Closed on Mondays.

We read the other reviews and decided to try this restaurant. We were staying at Kalahari where the food is just terrible. Not only was this restaurant very clean service was friendly and food was outstanding. We will come here whenever we are in town again.

Got this place To Go on our way back to the hotel after spending the day at Cedar Point. Honestly, probably some of the best Chinese food I have had. I would go back there in a heartbeat! The people were very nice and the food was fresh. The hot and sour soup is really good! Wish it was closer!
