Atlanta Wellness and Weight Loss

Unreal… This place is a scam, for sure. The receptionist/​technician, Morgan is a site to be reckoned with. It appears that one of the main priorities here is ensuring that the little yellow tip envelopes are strategically placed in your face.
Upon arriving for my 1^st visit, Morgan informed me that what I had purchased was really a follow up procedure to something more expensive and that it would cost me $ 200 for three treatments of that. Went for it just for kicks. I attended 2 subsequent visits and was measured each time. Morgan claimed that I had a miraculous weight loss of 2 inches in each area that she measured. Such a hoax! I was just hoping for a bit of skin tightening in a couple of areas, but jeez!
Save your money unless you’re up for a bit of laughter.

I arrive this morning Aug 21 2013 for my 8:30 AM appointment which I received a confirmation for yesterday Aug. 20 2013. The lady arrives at 9:05 only to tell me they don’t open till 9. There was another woman who booked for 8:45. Never did this place call to reschedule. Her comment was well my 9 o’clock is here so you will have to reschedule. No apology nothing. The service is Horrible and I cannot believe LIVING SOCIAL exposed it’s customers to this establishment. I am thinking twice now using LIVING SOCIAL anymore. but please DON’T WASTE your money on Atlanta Wellness and Weightloss.

VERY VERY POOR! I have called and left at least 20 messages on their phones, asking to be called back. They are impossible to get a hold of.
Don’t waste your money on them

If I could give them no stars I would! Atlanta Wellness & Weight Loss is the WORSE experience I have EVER had!(555 Sun Valley location) This was a Groupon.
They were NOT prepared for their opening of the store, training, equipment, appts. I would NEVER go back or refer anyone there! I waited 6 weeks for my first appt, then many weeks for the 2^nd. The proper way to have this is consecutive with the vacuum after. They are suppose to do cavitation for 15 min per area, however since they book appts for 15 min slots you get less time, and the techs are reminded they are running behind. I’ve had two or three areas scheduled in a 15 min slot-​impossible, techs are rushed and not given the proper time! Then because they overbook you wait for about an hour in the waiting room. Another challenge is getting someone on the phone or you are on hold forever. Today only two machines worked, one is broke, 6 people waiting for appt, never called to say running behind– staff turnover is great. NO Training for vacuum after cavitation as all them do it wrong and differently. This was opened quickly without stafff properly trainied, or working equipment. Unfortunately I purchased a 10 pack. I had a HORRIBLE experience. Avoid them!

This place is definitely running a scam! I bought my package back in October and have since booked and completed 7 of the 10 ultrasonic cavitation visits I purchased. I have seen no results. I have a 29″ waist line (small bulge from first child) that I wanted to reduce to 25−26″. Nothing has changed! One of the technicians admitted that they’re not performing the procedure as intended and the owners don’t care. It requires additional steps to really work; they’re only performing one of them which does absolutely nothing but give you a warming sensation and that’s it! They fool people into thinking this works only if that person is loosing weight. Well it’s the weightloss that’s working, not the procedure! I’m 125lbs and exercise regularly, but wanted to reduce my waistline a few inches. That fact that its not working with me says enough about how ineffective this is! Save your money!

I bought through Living Socially and they also will not give me my money back. I have booked two appointments and both have been cancelled. Immediately contacted Living Socially and they refuse to give me my money back. I will gladly go and pay $ 160 for my Botox from a reputable doctor. My friend is the senior investigator with Georgia State Board. He takes away doctor’s license. He will definitely be investigating this office.

Run!!! Can’t get anyone on the phone!!! Groupon doesn’t even have a working number for them! What does this day about GROUPON??? Does Groupon disregards and not care about the consumer? I want my money back from Groupon! This company (Atlanta Wellness) is a scam! GROUPON I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Same as the others… I bought this deal on Groupon. I believe this place is a scam. I booked 5 out of 10 of my appointments every week about 2 months in advance and one by one they called and cancelled every last one of them. Thankfully I called groupon and was able to get a full refund credited back to my card (not a groupon credit). This place is awful! Buyer beware!!!
