Would have loved to try this place out but after being ignored at the bar while the bartenders socialized for 10 minutes I assumed it wasn’t worth it. I live right down the street and run a restaurant my self in the area it’s upsetting to sit down at a bar on a slow night and get absolutely ignored. Best of luck with that strategy. Won’t be back.

It’s a good place if you want to see sports as they have a lot of screens and no music to enable hearing commentary. However the food quality and the taste is extremely low. The one star is for service and that was nice.

This place could be great, but unfortunately the customer service is as bad as you could imagine. Even when there are barely any customers, be prepared to wait exorbitant amounts of time for even a draft beer.

Never again. We go to the one in Tucker all the time, so you would expect something similar at such a small chain. You would be wrong. And I am never going to the Sandy Springs one again. Three complaints to the manager later, the service issues were not fully resolved. The manager talked a good game but, in the end, did not effect real change and still had staff members standing around while others foundered. My poor friends had to have four separate conversations to get their bill right. Our entrees hit the table at different times, it took over an hour to get a drink(the game, at this point, was the only thing keeping us there), and the appetizers showed up AFTER the entrees. Moreover, the staff there, except for the manager, seemed to have customer service at the absolute bottom of their list. Absolutely never again.

It seems like they have just completely given up… I would say that you’re safe if you just want to grab a beer and watch a game but I can’t. Half the time, they don’t have the beers on the menu and, unless you sit at the bar, it’s takes 20 minutes to find your server to place an order.

Delicious french fries! Went for an early evening dinner before a Braves Game. They weren’t overly busy but the kitchen was very slow :(

Hudson Grille is a large bar with typical bar food, but has plenty of space with several rooms that make it great for groups, small or large. I’ve gone to Hudson Grille twice — once for drinks after a day at the driving range and once for a private party. On a warm summer day, the patio is a great place to have a beer or two. There are several televisions inside that permit viewing of college football In the back, there’s a game room. The private party had a DJ stand, so yes, Hudson Grille can have dance parties. For food, I ordered the Angry Jamaican burger with fries. Portion size was large. The burger was big and I got a sizable helping of fries. If you don’t want beef, you can replace your patty with a piece of chicken instead. Your bun can either be white or wheat. I ordered my burger medium well and it came out medium. I didn’t mind too much, but if you’re picky you may want to keep that in mind. What makes the Angry Jamaican unique is that you get a slice of pineapple, habanero marmalade, and jerk seasoning. Beyond how the patty was cooked, the burger was different from what I expected. I was expecting a spicy burger, but it wasn’t spicy at all — I didn’t notice any kick from the habanero marmalade. In general, the burger seemed underseasoned — more like a regular burger with a slice of pineapple replacing the typical slice of tomato. I probably wouldn’t come back to Hudson Grille for burgers alone. For the atmosphere, with the food as a side note to a fun night out or drinks on the patio? That’s worth it.

One of the worst experiences ever at this restaurant ! 1. The server took 30 minutes to even take our order 2. It took 1 hour for the food to arrive 3. I was overcharged for my food. Bad move Hudson Grille… bad move! They should be better prepared for an NFL Sunday

Update update!!– my hubby and I came back today and the experience was SOGOOD! Unlike last time which was on a game day so the bar was packed out, the weekday lunch crowd only had few others in the restaurant and it was super chill. They still had games playing but instead had some fun 80’s music over the speakers. Our server Mark went above and beyond to make sure we had an absolutely superb meal. He, as well as all the food and drinks were ONPOINT. Everything was completely delightful and tasted fantastic. They have $ 5 martinis and cocktails and Mark suggested the blue raspberry martini, but said he liked it made with raspberry better. It was YUM. He gave my husband a couple of samples of beer to try so he could make a selection– our server last time did that as well. Mark’s service was impeccable, and Greg(I think?) the manager came by several times to make sure everything was great and was very welcoming and happy to see us having such a good experience. Their service was equal to that of a very expensive steak house— it made us feel special. We had the mahi mahi sliders, the lobster dip(TWOFORTHEPRICEOFONEONTUESDAYSWHAAAA) and split the shrimp and grits — which they divided into two bowls for us without us asking and I’m pretty sure they gave us more than a regular portion. Thanks to the other manager, Heather, we were able to give this place another shot and we are soo glad we did! It was such a memorable experience and we can’t wait to go back and try more items and watch some games there! Update** the manager already messaged me regarding our experience today and was very positive regarding my complaints. Haven’t been back to try it out again yet, but looking forward to giving this place another try based off of the manager’s response! *** Original review: REALLY wanted to like this place because it has a cool vibe and the servers are nice— however — – the server didn’t write down our order and I was wondering how he would remember it. Granted it was just me and my husband so it wouldn’t be crazy to be able to take our order and then walk three feet to enter it in their order system– but… we ordered the chili cheese tots as an app and they brought us our lunch first without bringing the appetizer. Then when they did bring out the food again, they put the wrong cheese on my sandwich and they charge per added topping so I obviously want my order correct. They bring back the«correct» order but didn’t bother to take the other cheese off before adding the smoked chili cream cheese so I scraped the old cheese off. The cream cheese they gave me had onion and green chili in there so I asked the server if this was in fact the smoked chili one that I ordered and he assured me it was– but it taste just like jalapeño cream cheese you get from the store. Knowing they also had jalapeño cheese, I asked another server and she didn’t really seem to know and then made up her mind that their jalapeño cheese was a slice not cream cheese so what they gave me originally was the jalapeño cheese but what I had on my burger now was the smoked chili… Of course after we left I looked online at the menu and as I thought, they do in fact have a jalapeño cream cheese AND a jalapeño sliced cheese… So even though it was my first time eating here I someone know the menu better than the servers… and the receipt said jalapeño cheese on it so either way they got it wrong but still charged me for it. On top of it, I noticed after drinking on my beer that the glass had lipstick on it… And I wasn’t wearing lipstick! GROSS… Glad both my husband and I were drinking on the beer. At least they took the beer off the receipt as they should– but the manager walked by is many times after that and didn’t even come to apologize and they still charged us for everything else despite getting my cheese wrong for instance. Just annoying and really not what we needed after a long day of being starving and just looking for a food place to eat. Learn your own menu guys and get your orders right.

Server Joey was very good. Handled everyone in his section quickly for a game night. No complaints there. I had a burger, very good. I am not one to break in to song and dance over how the tomato tasted or presentation of the tater tots, so figure that one on your own. There are tons of TVs for game day. The atmosphere is very dark, so be ready. My wife got a salmon dish and it was good as well. Over all great dishes. We used the check-in special and I was looking over the menu only to be told there was another menu I had to choose my desert from. I got the banana pudding and it was just enough to feed a small child. — — – cheap Here is my 2nd gripe. The exterior of this establishment is filthy. The ground can EASILY be pressure washed and pick up the cigarette butts all over the place. It isn’t a club downtown. You have 15 people working and prepping, send someone out to make it look presentable.

I thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch here on Saturday. The employees were very friendly and attentive. Our server, Chuck, was great! I love servers who know what questions to ask for every item ordered. It removes the room for error and an unhappy customer. Our food came out fast. This location is large and has plenty of tvs plus a large patio. Oh and we received a free dessert because we checked in on the Unilocal app!

First off, they ran out of bone-in wings so I had to order boneless wings. My food came to the table«ice cold», not even room temperature. The rest of my party’s food came out at varying temps; Rubens were warm while the fries and onion rings were barely room temperature. In the future, I will stick to the Midtown location.

Friends and I came here to do trivia on Wednesday night. So many things bothered me about our experience here that I can’t even name one good thing, so here comes my rant: — First of all, they misinformed us of trivia start time. We were told 8pm when it’s actually 7:30. It’s a good thing some of us got there early. — We ordered chips and queso but our waiter forgot the order. — They were out of multiple beers. Seriously. Our waiter came back at least 3 times for one guy’s order because each time when something was ordered, they were tapped out. — Granted we’re a pretty large group, but it felt like the waiter was in a rush to get us out of there and even then, he never stopped to refill waters or check on us. The only thing this place is good for is coming to play trivia. I don’t get why it takes so long to get a beer or food orders, but I’d hate coming here if it weren’t for the fact that they have trivia night.

I have a Hudson Grille right by my house in Brookhaven so it is unusual to venture out to the Sandy Springs location for me. However, my old company(80+) was throwing an event there. I never expected Hudson grille to even have an event space that was so accommodating but it was great. It had its own bar, a large projection screen, and plenty of space for all of us. In addition, they catered the party with cheese and spinach dips, sliders, chicken fingers, ribs and more. It was a great event and I really think the space made it. I’d recommend it to anybody looking for an event space for a large group.

Came here after work for happy hour. It was 5:15 and I told the female bartender I wanted a Vodka soda. She seemed confused…“like a splash of soda?” Um no! A cocktail!!! Then it was shift change and a man came in. The first thing he says to me(a blonde) is do you know any blonde jokes??? Last time I checked belittling your customer isn’t good customer service!!! He was a train wrack, but did acknowledge he’d only been working there four days. I ordered the healthy turkey meatballs for my entrée. The meatballs didn’t taste fresh but frozen. All and all, thank goodness I had good company!

This is your typical fancy-pants sports bar. The place carries what seems like two dozen televisions strategically placed all over the place. This, of course, makes it very easy to disengage from any and every single conversation, if you so choose. Also, service can be a bit touch and go — largely because the staff seems to be run off their feet. For example, why would you have one bartender stationed at a bar that is the length of about six or seven bobsleds — and on a peak night, no less? And why one hostess? Goodness, was there only one server, too?! That said, carve out extra time to be here. And if you are not arriving to watch a game or to be über attentive to the ones you came with, expect to be easily distracted. Despite the slow service(and I sympathize with the folks who work here) and the barrage of television screens, there are many things I like about Hudson. It has a lot of breathing room. I didn’t catch the room occupancy, but this restaurant can easily seat multiple hundreds of people. Nice sizable place. But you don’t feel like you are sitting on top of your neighbor — lest you are at the bar. FYI: Bar seating is tight! So if you would rather not sit hip to hip with a bar patron, take a table. There is a nice mix of seating — high tables, bar seating and booth seating. The seating at the actual bar goes pretty quickly, but there are also the less popular high tables in the bar area. Now to the food. The popular go to seems to be the burgers, maybe the wings and also the drinks. I didn’t try any of those. I had a chance to enjoy the spinach dip, which is $ 7 of absolute yummy, cheesy heaven, and the herb chicken. So, yes, absolutely loved the spinach dip. The chips were slightly too thick, but the dip was perfectly done. It tasted homemade. Might well be — I’m not 100 percent certain. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and moist. And it seemed it took its flavor queues from herbs, not salt, which was a wonderful relief. It did not need any seasoning added or subtracted. The side Cesar salad was the perfect accompaniment, and the sauce had a welcomed robust flavor. The side of potatoes were delicious. There were parts where it seemed the chef mashed, then quickly pan fried the potatoes. Lovely flavor, and more hearty than potatoes at other restaurants. Overall, I was quite pleased.

I have to agree with the advertisements that describe Hudson’s Grill as Atlanta’s best sports bar. I’ve been to the downtown location, and it was good, but the Sandy Springs location is even better, with a larger space and bigger crowd. I came here on a Sunday for a Falcons game and it was a great place to watch the game. The bar is huge and crowded. On a Sunday afternoon it’s a very lively place. There’s just something special about watching sports in the company of other enthusiastic fans who are rooting for their teams. So basically if you’re looking to enjoy some food and drinks in the company of a large number of other enthusiastic fans, this is a good place. One thing to watch out for is that you may need to get there early if you want a seat. I came in on the prior Sunday right at 1PM and could not find a single seat at their very large bar. It’s a huge complex, with several rooms, and most except for the main room are reserved by fans of a specific team or for a private event. Apart from the ambience, the food, drinks and service are also above average as compared to other sports bars. The craft beer selection is fairly good, not as large as Taco Mac but better than most places. I had a Sweetwater IPA. I had a hummus plate with vegetables and pita bread for an appetizer, and it was just fine and filling. Glad to see this option as most other appetizer dishes are not quite as healthy appearing. The chicken southwest sandwich I ordered was excellent. It was big, juicy, and spicy with the jalapeños giving it a kick. I really recommend it. Despite the large crowd, the bartenders were able to keep the patrons at the bar refilled and kept good track of us. Never felt like I was being neglected. They also were friendly. I really enjoyed coming here and recommend it for big games.
