Considering Unilocal deleted my first review for«inaccurately describing my experience,» I have to write a new review. My accurate complaint was the wait time and always running out of even the most generic menu options and ingredients. These complaints are valid and reflect my experience at this location. Are you listening, Unilocal? While the Starbucks is usually busy, it is hit or miss on how long you wait for your drink and if your drink is accurate. The drive-thru is a test of patience. This is the only Starbucks for miles and everyone driving down Roswell road from downtown Roswell in to Sandy Springs stops here. The line wraps the building and while there are 4 – 5 barista’s working inside, each cup is slowly served and you will impatiently feel every minute while you wait for your fix. Ive never been to a Starbucks location that was out of so many ingredients. Over the Holidays they were out of caramel. Just this week they were out of peppermint and salt for their caramel salted frapp’s. I know what you’re thinking: «cry me a river» but if I’m going to spend $ 5 – 6 for warm water with legal stimulants, I need the extras to feel better about the expense.

Not a bad Starbucks, as they go. The staff has always been very good and accommodating — also this location is cleaner than many. I usually hit this locations after eating at Aladdin’s nearby — it’s a treat to get a nice iced frappé after hitting the Mediterranean food.

The customer service and speed of service is consistently fast, but the quality of the coffee(flavor, temperature, etc) doesn’t compliment the price. Returned to have remade to alter temperature and more flavor added to hide quality. The young lady/cashier was very professional handling the issue. Very commendable customer service skills. Sometimes missing the mark in customer service will happen recovering is important. They recovered! Awesomeupgraded to 4 stars

This Starbucks is one of my favorite locations. Located in the Publix shopping center on Dunwoody Place, it’s particularly large with a roomy inside space and bigger patio than most Starbucks. Although it’s almost always busy, the line moves quickly and this location is always adequately staffed. I’ve never had to wait too long to place or receive my order. The workers are very friendly and smile as though they’re actually happy to be there, which goes a long way toward the customer experience. Inside, most customers tend to be on their own, and the noise level is conducive to reading or working without interruption. Take advantage of Starbucks’ comfortable seating and free Wifi if you have the time! Outside, things are a bit more social, so that’s where you’ll probably need to go if you’re planning on having a lively conversation with someone else over coffee. This week, I tried out the new feature with the Starbucks app. You can place your order ahead of time, and it’s ready for you a few minutes later(you pay through the app. If you have a Starbucks card, like I do, this is very easy to do.) Like I mentioned, I’ve never really had to wait for an order here, so I didn’t *need* to use the feature, I was just curious. It worked very well, but I can’t see using it often because you still have to park outside and come in, which ends up taking just as much time or even more than to go through the drive-through and order the old-fashioned way. Perhaps if you had a really big order, it would make sense to use the app. Otherwise, come on down and talk to the cool people working here!

We live close and this location is on my way to work. The staff is friendly and professional. Shout outs to two staff members in particular. Ron, best Barista ever. Mary, best person at the register ever. Ron makes the best cappuccinos and coffee frappachinos. Takes great care in making them properly so you can taste the coffee. Mary is always upbeat and friendly, remembers your name and favorite drink. Service is also fast at the drive-thru. Keep up the good work!

My wife and I always go to this location(because its right down the street from our house) before we go to work. I have been going here for about two years now. They are ALWAYS friendly and consistently great… their service is phenomenal, food is fresh(double smoked bacon breakfast sandwich is amazing) and they always get the order right. Kudos to them.

«Princess» the barista had a HORRIBLE attitude. Typically great service but Ashley the Manager said she had had a long day… Haven’t we all?! Unacceptable!

While Starbucks is generally known for its expensive(though pretty tasty!) coffee, as far as I know, it’s also well known for its efficient customer-oriented service. I don’t frequent Starbucks as much as I did in high school, since I’ve grown fond of local coffee shops with a less predictable interior space and less bleached feel. While their pastries and coffee are good, they’re nothing to write home about, and nothing I haven’t tasted better from a local area. I had a gift card for Starbucks from my employees for my birthday(in June), so I thought it would be a nice treat for an unseasonably warm day in winter. My companion and I popped in here after shopping at the Publix next door, so this location is expertly situated around a grocery store, multiple restaurants(both sit down and quick service), a nail salon, etc. And I’ll be damned if the people here weren’t some of the laziest around. When we came in, the drive through line was about 4 – 5 cars deep, and there was 0 wait time inside. After we ordered, it took 20 minutes for my order to be given to me. Yup. TWENTYMINUTES. And how do I know this exactly? Well, there was a label on my drink that said 1:50 when I received it, and by the time we walked out it was 2:09. While I understand they want to service the drive through people quickly, it was completely ludicrous they waited so long to serve me. I paid just as well as those in the drive through, I wasn’t rude or pushy, and there’s really no reason it should have taken that long for them to make me a drink. I’m not some sort of coffee snob, and I think a reasonable amount of time would have been around 5 minutes(even though the place had no customers in line). And by the time we left, there were 6 cars in the drive through and probably more, since the building cut out the rest of the cars from view. If you want to service the drive through people quickly, maybe they should have multiple people creating the drinks? Just a thought. If this location can’t balance two customers inside and 6 cars outside at a non-busy time, I fear for how they can manage them at lunch time. EDIT: I added this to my Free Birthday List because if you have a registered card, you can get a free drink on your Birthday. From any of the drinks they offer, at any size.

I just went through the drive-thru here and am very disappointed. I ordered a caramel latte, my fiancé ordered a Chai tea. When we got to the window the fellow asked which drinks we had. He wasn’t very pleasant. We told him again what we wanted and I still ended up getting somebody else’s mocha. We also ordered a chocolate croissant, told the same fellow we didn’t want it heated, he handed it to us and the croissant was so hot we couldn’t touch it. Totally scorched the chocolate inside, giving it that burnt flavor. Very unpleasant. If it were my first time enjoying Starbucks, I’d never go back. Lucky for them I’ve enjoyed them all over the east coast and know how wonderful they usually are. This place was a poor example this go-round.

I’ve never been to Starbucks before because I thought it was over rated but today I decided I’d try it: Iced carmel macchiato is what I got with extra carmel(I think im in love… with the coffee that is) the atmosphere was ok, nothing to get too excited about. I’ll definitely go back for another iced coffee.

I’m a Starbucks fanatic! I’ve hit gold status twice and it’s been less than a year since I got the gold status. I always stop by this location on my way to work on Saturday mornings and it’s always so busy. I have to choose between which one is quicker to get through — the line inside or the drive through. It always looks like the drive through takes longer since there’s so many cars waiting so I just go inside to order, hoping for a shorter wait. I was wrong; I always end up waiting at the most 10 minutes for my drink. It’s a long wait for me since I’m sleep deprived, but I guess there’s not much that I can do since I gotta have my Starbucks. Overall, nice location & the staff is friendly.

This like the biggest Starbucks ’round these parts! Seriously 2−3x the size of normal locations. With a big outside area and lots of tables inside and out. That’s about all it differs from any other Starbucks. .except for the fact that it took my 2013PSL virginity. That is to say, I had my first Pumpkin Spice latte of the season here. So, I guess it’ll hold a special place in my heart, at least until August 2014. That’s all.

«It’s coffee time! Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee! Cappuccino, java, YES!» — Dante’s Peak(1997) There is tons of space to sit, set up to work and the people are nice enough, but good lord it is LOUD. The music is super loud, and I feel like there are not enough words to really describe how tough it was to try and work here. Then, you add in the grinding of coffee beans, steaming of mix, and chatter of all the people around you and it became deafening occasionally. I actually received a complaint from someone on one of my calls about the background noise and I had to use both earphones to block out as much as I could. They made my coffee well, but I don’t think I will do anything but stop in for a coffee to go in the future.

This Starbucks is legitimately one of the sketchiest places I’ve ever been. I’ve traveled on buses around the east coast as well as in other countries, I’ve been to some basements that are sometimes known as dive bars, I’ve even been to a South Georgia ‘Walmart’ in the middle of the night(yikes) but this Starbucks in Sandy Springs is even sketchier. The inside of the store was about 63 degrees so my friend and I opted to sit outside. My chai tea and her frappacino were fine, standard Starbucks drinks. I find the Starbucks chai a bit on the musty, dirty tasting side, but hey all of their coffee tastes a little like dirt so what else is new. The patio has about 10 tables all scrunched together. Sitting beside us was a man counting his money over and over again. Then some fellows on the other side of the patio drove up in a large black SUV and handed something to a guy sipping on his coffee(that’s not suspicious). There was also some yelling and… growling I guess would be the word from yet another fine fellow strolling by. Keep in mind that this Starbucks in in the middle of a parking lot in Sandy Springs so you wouldn’t expect a ton of walk by traffic. Also, I saw a guy push an old man. Really people. Really. I imagine the drive thru at this Starbucks is a bit more popular. Studying here would be nearly impossible and I don’t foresee myself returning.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? Well, as a frequent Starbucks, well, frequenter, I still try and pick out things that set different branches apart, mainly so I can note them in Unilocal reviews. While initially sipping my iced decaf coffee from a comfortable upholstered chair, I thought this review would be reflecting on the remarkably large amount and variety of seating available at this location(large covered patio, long bar for individuals, tons of indoor ables, and a smattering of comfy chairs). However, my pensive state was interrupted when one of the employees began mopping my feet. Yes, that’s right, mopping my feet. The store was relatively empty, so I was surprised that she began cleaning in my section, but even more-so once her mop tentacles began flicking over my boots! So much so that I exclaimed«oh, I’m sorry, let me move.» To which she responded in an exasperated tone, «Oh no, oh no. Just stay where you are, you’re fine.» SOSTRANGE. Check out the picture I snapped as soon as she moved on to the next section, and you’ll see I wasn’t kidding. In summary, typical Starbucks, plus an unwelcome shoe shine.

It’s a regular Starbucks, although exceptionally convenient on Roswell Road, with both ample parking as well as a very quick drive-through window. Friendly staff, efficiency, and convenience make this a regular stop for me.

This Starbucks offers nothing in particular special. Other locations have special coffee, special preparation, something about the interior that makes them unique… this one… not so much I stop in either on my way to work, or occasionally on my way out of town…

This is my ‘regular’ Starbucks, and it fits the bill. Sometimes service is hit or miss(I’ve had really friendly baristas, and really grouchy ones) but my drinks are usually consistent, so no complaints there. Once, during the holidays, I ordered a drink and then saw a sign afterwards that they were running a special for a buy one get one — I think this was the week all Starbucks were doing this — and since I’d already ordered, the barista gave me a coupon for a buy one get one free that was good for another month. That was nice of him! I’m not a Starbucks freak or anything; this is more about convenience for me, but this place is my go to when I want some coffee or tea and want to sit outside. They have a smoking and non-smoking section, too.

I’ve been here a few times and I rate my Starbucks based on customer service since they all serve the same coffee. I know what good coffee tastes like… the wife is from Colombia and that’s like going to France for the wine, LOL. Overall, they aren’t bad. This location got three stars because the guy behind the counter screwed up our order, even after having him remake it again although his attitude wasn’t bad. To be fair, we have gone back since then and they were just fine(different guy behind the counter though).
