Came off the mountain and stopped here for lunch and it was wonderful! Very nice service and the food was hot and fresh. We ate family style which had large portions and plenty of leftovers for later. The price was also very cheap, we got a lot for our money. Will definitely come again.

We stopped by this Chinese restaurant on our way back to Seattle. Environment: Average. It’s a pretty standard Chinese restaurant. From the Chinese arm swinging cat to lots of red colored booths and table cloths, nothing in particular stood out. Quality of food: It was better than I what I expected. Especially for the price of the food, it was incredible. You need to try their spicy green beans and their lunch combos are pretty filling. The food also comes with unlimited complimentary soup! Quality of service: Great service. Always kept the waters filled and brought items when requested without having to ask again(hot sauce, more soup, etc)

My son really loves this place so on his recommendation we stopped in on the way home tonight. It was around 6 pm and only two other tables were seated. Since it was dinner time that can be good or bad– but I price a lot of take out. You can order online so that is a plus. Service was fast and the food is absolutely A-typical Chinese. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a place I would get a speeding ticket getting to either. I had the egg rolls on a prior occasion and it was a large sliced egg roll with too much cornstarch so tonight I went with spring rolls and they were pretty good– there are either 5 or 6 in an order. I was losing focus from low blood sugar so sorry on the count. Portions are HUGE– we did the combo for $ 9.75 with chow mein — sweet and sour pork and pork fried rice. It was all good but nothing special– the upside though, the chow mein was not corn starched into a glue ball of sprouts n noodles. It was very fresh. For both of us getting two combos and two appetizers, it was $ 30– not bad.

Lunch time. First time here since the new ownership from Wong’s King. Décor is almost the same, very clean. Definitely old style Chinese restaurant look. Started with spring rolls, I thought these were fresh they come deep fried though, more my fault for not doing my due diligence and checking. They were good though, eight little fried tubes of goodness. Next, the two soups. Egg flower and hot and sweet, both fine. They do come with fried wontons which is a nice bonus. Lunch special entrees… Wife got cashew nut shrimp with fried rice. I got the three flavored Mongolian, pork, shrimp, chicken and onion in a brown sauce. Both were very tasty and and large portions. With the lunch special you also get crab puffs, which were nicely filled and tasty. Mentioning being gluten sensitive the server brought me some crab chips? Which I have never seen but look like little light tart crusts but taste like airy pork rinds. Cool but not any flavor to speak of. The server was super nice with minimal language barrier issues. My only two critiques. I wish they offered non fried spring rolls. I also wish they had a peanut sauce or something like that as my white rice needed something. As of now this will be our go to Asian style restaurant in Sandy. Update: I guess the crab chips aren’t available normally. It sounds like they just happen to have some and gave them to me. Oh well

Moved in to the area a short time ago and my wife loves Chinese food. Looked on Unilocal and decided from the reviews to try the Golden Key. Food was great, staff was very nice and attentive. My wife told me this is now our«to go place» for Chinese food in Sandy.

Not exaggerating at all when I say,“Best Chinese Food Ever!!!” My wife and I came here last Monday, and fell in love with this place… We came the very next Monday, we were remembered, and greeted with a big smile. Then somehow, the food last time was really good, then this time it was even better. We might make it a tradition of coming here every Monday. Amazing food, and Amazing Service!!! What else do you want?

We were so excited to be back in the area and come to our favorite Chinese in the area. So sad. They apparently have changed hands. Food was just ok but the portions were huge and the price was right. The General’s Chicken is not what it used to be and I’m not entirely sure it was cooked thru. They it the pieces very large now. Would come again but won’t be all excited about it next time. On a positive note the service was excellent. Have the BBQ — you won’t be disappointed.

Tried this place today and I was very pleased. Very good Kung Pao Chicken. Spicy hot & sour soup. Fried rice was old school good, had a lot of BBQ pork. Many places now give you very light fried rice with not much flavor or add ins. Sweet & sour chicken was good, very light batter and not greasy. Sauce was red like everywhere else. I don’t know where Michael B. gets his. I actually prefer sweet & sour spare ribs with the dark sauce but it’s getting hard to find. My dining partner had General Tso’s chicken, fried rice and fried shrimp. Again, lightly battered chicken and shrimp, not greasy. I have to admit, the G.T. chicken was a little weird but good. Long pieces in a dark and slightly anise flavored sauce. Like none I’d ever had before. My partner told the very friendly and attentive waitress that it wasn’t as she expected. She brought out a generous dish of delicious Szechuan chicken, apologized and said it was gratis. How do you beat that? And they serve up generous portions! We were hungry and brought home more than half of our meals. To Kyle B.(review below) I was GLAD to see this place change ownership. Wong’s on Division is outstanding, but the Sandy restaurant was only so-so. The owner even admitted that the Sandy version was to please the tastes of Americans. I don’t understand the other 2 bad reviews because this will be my go to place for Chinese food in Sandy. I already wrote a bad review for One World(New Garden) Buffet. And Double Dragon(the one that’s been there since Jesus was a Corporal) has been slipping lately. Hey, kick it up. You’ve got competition

Outstanding food, and they serve so much! The service was prompt, friendly & efficient. Prices are great especially w/all you get. Beer could’ve been a little colder but that wasn’t enough to not want too recommend this place to friends & family.

My wife and I were sad to see this place change to what it is now. We’ve only eaten there once with a large group. The service was friendly, it just took about an hour and 15 for the food. It was a party of 7. The food was poorly seasoned and not great tasting. Kind of reminds me of a cheap buffet taste. We will not be going back.

Under new ownership. It was called Wongs Kitchen. The food is very fresh, Flavors are excellent, and not overcooked. The takeout is very convinent. The green beans and chicken is excellent. So is the cashew nut chicken.

If you like dry tasteless fried rice then I would steer clear of this place. Everything is soooo fresh and packed with flavor. I got the Kung Pow Chicken, which was all white meat cooked to order and the vegetables were perfect. I got the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which was also fresh white meat that was freshly fried. The batter was light and crispy with sesame seeds in it. So Good! I can’t wait to come again. Such a great value for the money. Do yourself a favor.

I came here with a friend for lunch and was amazed that we stuffed our faces for 13 bucks. It was so yummy! And they even let us custom pick from the predesignated lunch menu. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely come back. I had the pork fried rice and sesame chicken. Yum!

This place was horrendous. All their food was poorly seasoned, over priced, and their Sweet and sour sauce was extremely Sweet. I know it’s just a sauce, and it shouldn’t be anything to gripe about, but the sauce was so sweet, it ruined the rest of my meal due to the coating it left in my mouth. The general tsao chicken tastes just like the mandarin Chicken. The pan fried noodle is JUSTSPAGHETTITOSSEDINOLDGREASE!!! SOBAD!!! Also, the tea tastes like dish water mixed with dirt. I usually don’t post reviews about places that I dislike, but this place was just so bad that I had to say something.. I’m so disappointed in the food. The only positive part of my dining experience, was the service. Friendly staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Been there twice, hit and miss, lemon chicken was very good, ingredients were fresh, the chicken and broccoli was the worst I’ve ever had, dry dry and dry, no flavor, no sauce, no onions, carrots, nothing, just dry broccoli and dry chicken lol.. ill go back and try more dishes, and report back
