My family and I stopped by this KFC today on the way to mt. Hood. We never eat at KFC and I think we probably never will again based on our experience here. First off we were having a hard time deciding wether to get the 20 $ family deal or not but they made that decision easy by outright refusing to make a substitution of Mac and cheese for one of the two mashed tater sides that came with it. Knowing our daughter would likely, only eat mac and cheese we decided to buy two 5 $ meals and a 2.99 kids meal with the Mac and cheese. Your employees talked us out of 7 $ worth of sales right off the bat Colonel, I hope that makes you happy. Second, when they filled the order they only put one 5 dollar meal on the tray. When I asked for the other the guy had to examine my receipt. We were the only people there, yet they couldn’t get our order right. We sat down at the cleanest of the 7 tables in the place, and I took it upon myself to wipe it with a napkin. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no soap in the dispenser. To me, this means that the male staff were unable to keep a level of cleanliness required by federal law and with everything else that I saw compels me to make a report to the Oregon health department. Upon opening our meal boxes we discovered there were no utensils so my wife went up to get some. She came back with only one set so I too had to make a trip up to the register. There I told the girl, in an overly friendly fashion, that all of the tables were dirty and that the soap was gone in the bathroom. When I returned to the table my wife was attempting to butter a biscuit for my 15 month old son but she couldn’t; there was no butter! I again returned to the register to retrieve the butter where the manager told me I could have, «infinity sauces.» I settled on just one butter and went back to the table. Now, being a southern boy, and the former operator of a food cart that specialized in fried chicken and fish, I could tell at first sight that my chicken was over an hour old; it tasted much, much older. Anyway, this place was operating very half ass, with a bunch of employees that didn’t seem to care. It was dirty and in violation of at least one health code. We had to ask more than once, for the standard things we needed to eat here, and the chicken was not freshly cooked, and it would not surprise me if it had been cooked the day before. Take my advice, don’t eat here. Truth is, I don’t think they give a crap if you dont

The last time I was here I went inside and it smelled bad and had flies buzzing around. That was a year and a half ago. I decided to give it another try today but decided against it when I pulled into the parking lot and saw 4 employees taking a smoke break out the back door. It’s 3:30 in the afternoon. It’s probably not very busy but they should be aware of the fact that they just lost another customer because that was a very offputting sight to see when I am hungry…

While the food is fresh and tasty, the staff is extremely young and mistake prone. On almost every visit, they are either out of something or forget something when we order. We never ask for anything, but the young staff always gives away something free for the aggravation of having to wait for a problem to be corrected. I have sat there and watched them comp free soda after free soda. Again, the food is always good… just understand that you are going to have to wait a little longer and may not be able to order everything on the menu.
