This has been my go to coffee and hang out place for years. You must try the London Fog and the Voldemort! So good! And their chai is amazing as well! The atmosphere at sunset is awesome and is feels like everyone there likes each other, good vibes at all times

The Coffee is pretty good. The workers are ok, they can be kinda snooty or childish and unprofessional(i’ve only seen one or two nice employees there). The view is beautiful, especially at night. The crowd is awful. When I walk in I feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. The type of people that hang out there are pretentious teens from the area who think they own the place. Overall I wont come here unless its past 10, since everywhere else is closed by then.

Came here to study. The wifi was so spotty and I had to reconnect to it about 20 times, which made trying to do my homework nearly impossible. The coffee was okay, but nothing spectacular. The entire building smelled like cigarettes because people kept coming in and out from the patio. If the wifi was better it would be a good place to study as there are plenty of tables. However, there are hardly any outlets, so good luck finding an open table with one nearby. I don’t think I’ll be back again.

Showed up at 4 am to get some real winner-like studying on and they were closed! Thought this was a 24⁄7 shop? Sunset coffee isn’t I guess. Lame for me. McDonald’s here we come. Ehhh

Great place for coffee! If you’re looking for pastries or other edibles to accompany, I wouldn’t recommend it. I ordered the spiced chai with almond milk, shot of espresso and white chocolate. VERY tasty! I give it 4 stars because of the lack of options for eats, and the tables/chairs weren’t the nicest. If they expanded their pastry menu and spruced up the furniture a bit, it would be a 5 star rating for sure.

A thoroughly dope coffee shop. Board games and puzzles, a patio, one helluva view, and incredible coffee. I recommend the Voldemort.

I absolutely love their coffee, it is the best. And their dirty chai is absolutely amazing. The staff is always super friendly and laid back. Overall it is a very chill environment. It is a little more spendy but I will always pay a little more for better than Starbucks coffee! The only downside is they don’t really care what goes on inside and outside the store. I try to avoid going there at night when there are crowds of people standing out front yelling and trying to talk to me with profound words.

Yuck! After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I’m so sorry I did. The espresso is way over roasted and so bitter! Even all the milk in my latte couldn’t mask the bitterness. My drink tastes like it was filtered through an ashtray and it’s making my stomach turn. The barista was very friendly though, so A+ for service but without a great product to back it, this place is going on my «never again» list.

Cool location with a good selection of drinks. Hot chocolate and steamers are reasonably priced, the rest is pretty expensive. $ 5+ for a small drink. We went with a hot chocolate, dragon chai, and a fruity pebble rice crispy treat. The drinks were good, and the treat was amazing. The outdoor patio is nice though, the views are excellent, and they are open pretty late. They also have a pretty good selection of board games to play as well. All in all it’s a good place to study, hang out, or just relax, but a little expensive.

Best coffee shop in town without a doubt. The view of the valley is amazing, the customer service is superb, it is a warm and welcoming environment, and of course the coffee is pristine! I am a regular at this place for sure. For all those free wifi lovers this place has an extremely high-strength wifi system that reaches all the way into the parking lot. I wouldn’t ever even think about giving this place less than 5 stars, I’d give it 10 if I could. I highly suggest stopping by and giving it a try!

Great tasting coffee. Great environment. Employees maintain a great relationship with their patrons. Reasonable prices. Open late. What more could you want from a coffee shop?

I love coming here with my friends. The view is fantastic and the coffee is good. Chai of the Tiger is a must! Always friendly staff also. Too bad I live so far from it!

I really, really like this place. Right from the beginning I enjoyed the fact that there seemed to be a large variety of different kinds of people. It wasn’t all your typical, hip looking white kid at every corner type of deal. It’s quite spacious inside. We came on a Friday and every table was occupied. Clearly, they’re doing something right. But what’s best about this place, is first and foremost the amazing view. Who knew a strip mall coffee shop would win such praises? It looks totally uninspiring from street view, but trust me, it’s worth a visit. Just be warned that the patio HAS been taken over by smokers. Being a smoker myself, this is not bothersome. However, it may be for you. Bonus points for the coffee actually being very good as well. Local shops usually are, but Sunset kind of went above the normal parameters. Lots of good speciality drinks, but even the pure black iced coffee I tried was delicious.(and reasonable price wise!) Definitely somewhere I recommend visiting if you are in the area, and a coffee lover.

I’ve been coming here every few days for the past couple of weeks to study, and it’s great! I’d come in to study for a few hours and it has everything. Cheap coffee, plenty of space to study, free wifi, outlets for my computer and phone, and a friendly staff. There are usually a lot of people hanging around outside, smoking, and playing their guitars. It seems like a place where regulars come just to hang out, and the vibe is great. Even though I don’t go outside to hang out with the usuals, it is a great study space for me. It’s never too crowded inside. One thing that I suggest is to bring your own bottle if you want to drink some water, or else they charge you for a cup of water.

I adore Sunset but I have been going here for years and I guess you can say I am biased. It has changed alot in the last few years and with that the crowd and the staff changes. The staff now isnt like the staff before, which is why I gave it 4 stars. There isnt always consistency in the drinks. The Coffee and drinks are great. I would Highly suggest Chai of the Tiger.

Giving it a 5 becasue of the view. I came here with a friend to get some coffee rather late one night. The balcony looks right out over the entire city. I would love to see this place at sunset or sunrise! They have tons of coffee, and outside there were a whole bunch of young people hanging around smoking, and playing badly on the guitar. Awesome.

Sandy, UT: I don’t like coffee. There, I said it. Thankfully there are a few amazing places like this that cater to the coffee-averse. I’ve been coming here off and on for the past couple years though today was the first time I’ve been back since they expanded. After I mentioned I don’t like coffee and am not one for a lot of caffeine, the barista recommended a decaffeinated chai frozen drink thingy. It was flipping amazing and I practically chugged it on the spot. So yummy. I recommend coming here for the delicious drinks and nice baristas. That being said, going outside will likely be miserable unless you smoke — there is always a lingering cigarette smell outside. Even so, come here for the drinks and nice baristas.

Reading the reviews, I had to make a Unilocal for this place. Honestly, Sunset is the best shop in Utah, all baristas are genuine people and are all nice. Everyone is friendly, there is not one clique that judges others here. And the new updated interior is amazing. They recently took over the tanning salon next to them and increased the size almost 2 fold so much more interior seating when it’s cold. Oh and the coffee is always on par. From how many shops I’ve been to and hung out at in Utah, they always do the best here.

Good coffee and kind of a unique crowd. Seems to be the hangout for a lot of college type kids, gamers, juggalos and goths. They are open late and seem to draw a later crowd who don’t mind being hopped up on caffeine all night long.

Open later than most. Wifi pw is written on a sort of inconspicuous chalkboard above the front area seating. I never noticed it but asked them about it one day and got educated. Drinks — they are good. Usually just go for tea, or iced coffee. Chai is fantastic and available decaf. Expansion is done. I can now declare this little haven the best of all time, ever. 900 stars.
