Ruined 3 of 4 clothing items and didn’t even offer an apology. I was going to give them 2 stars because the store manager did initially try to mend the situation, but when I emailed the address listed on the website to let them know about my experience, I didn’t ever get any sort of response. I emailed them 3+ weeks ago, I thought that was more than enough time to get back to me, I’m still yet to hear from them.
They shrunk 3 articles of clothing, totaling over $ 250: 2 pairs of slacks and a dress. When I called to tell the manager my clothes had shrunk he told me dry cleaning doesn’t shrink clothes and that they couldn’t have shrunken them. He said to bring them back in and they would make it right. I took them back in and he said they would try to stretch them. I was a bit weary of this but figured he knew best since he’s the dry cleaning expert. When I returned to pick up my clothes the manager told me the owner had been in so he brought this to his attention, and that the owner agreed there was no possible way they shrunk my clothes. I had asked if there was a possibility they were laundered instead of dry cleaned but he assured me that he could tell they hadn’t been washed in water just by looking at them. He also told me the linings would have visibly shrunk if that were the case. After they stretched them I took them home to try them on. None of the clothes fit the way they did before I took them in. The dress that used to hit just above my knee is know mid thigh and I can barely zip it up. 1 of the 2 pairs of slacks is completely ruined, I would have to shrink an inch or 2 and lose 15 pounds in order for them to fit like they did before. The other pair of slacks I can wear but are now skin tight when they used to fit loosely. I called the manger and told him all of this and he told me to bring the pair of slacks back that were still too tight and they would stretch them more. I have not ever laundered these articles of clothing myself and I have not gained weight. The manager was quiet argumentative in telling me time and time again that they did not shrink my clothes. My clothes fit fine before I took them in and did not fit when I picked them up 2 days later. I do have to give the store manager a little credit, he did apologize for the pants being pressed incorrectly. One of the pairs of pants came back looking melted and discolored the first time. He told me they had just been pressed incorrectly and that he could steam them and press them. The 4th clothing item I had taken in was a blouse with a stain on it that didn’t come out the first time. He was able to remove the stain himself, he said when they actually know what the stain is that they can usually get it out. Well, I told the girl it was a wine stain when I dropped it off the first time and she put sticker on the blouse where the stains were and told me it should be fine. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this establishment for them to try to «fix» my slacks or for any of my future dry cleaning needs. I paid them $ 30 to launder 4 items and they ruined over $ 250 of clothing.

I have used Trailside for a few years and they have always done a great job. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I usually just get dress shirts done and med starch.
