What a cool store! I believe this used to be a J.C. Penney back in the day. Set in the historic district of Sanford, it’s the biggest antique/framing store on the block. They sell everything you would expect to see in an antique store; poster prints, books, jewelry, furniture, etc. The best part is the custom framing service! So many options! And the staff is so knowledgeable and super friendly! I was eyeing some wicker chairs in the upper level, but had no room in the car to take them home. :(Love this place and will visit again!

Part frame store, part craft store and part antique store, «A Few Nice Things» is a decent little shop in downtown Sanford. The owners were very quick to greet me and answered all of my questions aplomb, and while I didn’t find any treasures on my first visit I’ll definitely stop in there when I’m passing through town again.
