VERY poorly organized. A lot of opened/unwrapped products. There also seems to be a lack of staff because a lot of messes are left unclean.

The prices are great, you can’t beat that. However, the cashiers are extremely rude, i took my own bags to place my items in & when you try to bag them, they give you major attitude. Last time it was an indian guy and now it was some girl. So its not an isolated incident. They rush all ur items into the cart yet as you try to bag them they are rushing you to pay. But we the customers, who help pay their salaries try to bag our things get treated like shit. I got to the line with a person ahead of me, WE had to wait for Ms. Cashier to finish sweeping outside and then its all rush rush and if you don’t get the heck out of the way, they become agitated! I prefer to pay a bit more for my things and get treated properly instead of going back. Plus, they don’t even list their store telephone # to speak with a manager– they give you a 1800 # to call«customer service» pfff NEVER going back! Not worth it– HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. So yes, pay cheap for being treated like shit.

Aldi is located on SR46 in Sanford, at the intersection of Upsala. This is a large location and must be newer compared to some of the other Orlando locations I’ve popped in. The Aldi grocery store chain is owned by the same parent company that owns Trader Joe’s, so there is slight bleed over in product offerings. The same roasted pepper and tomato soup that I buy at TJ’s in Sarasota for $ 1.99 is $ 1.79 here and similar tasting/quality products can be purchased for $ 4+ at Publix, whole foods and fresh market. Ditto for veggie broth. Aldi offers mostly their in house/private labeled products, but on occasion will offer regular brand names on items. Produce can offer some very nice gourmet and organic bargains. Nuts, snacks and chocolate and produce is usually in my bag when I leave here. Staff is nice, bag your own groceries and if you want a cart you need a quarter to unlock the cart, which is returned to you when you put the cart back. Cash or debit card only(no charge cards).

Dirty, unkempt aisles. Rotting/questionable quality produce. Long checkout lines. Cashiers who do not understand simple customer service concepts and argue with customers. Credit cards aren’t accepted. Prices aren’t much cheaper than Wal-Mart anymore. At least the parking lot is free of carts.
