China Wok III

The food was good. I really enjoyed the food. I got chicken pad Thai and beef and vegetables. I did get it delivered. The pad Thai would’ve been nice with more flavor. The beef and vegetables were not my favorite. Maybe I should just stop ordering beef and vegetables because I haven’t liked one recently. So the food’s flavor was a little above average.
The main reason this is a3 instead of 4 is because the delivery took over an hour. I ordered it online through Eat24 and it said an estimated time of 50 minutes. I was OK with that until it was over an hour. I called they knew my order exactly and said they needed to get a driver and it would be a half hour. So I waited way too long for my food. I recommend just calling to order.
I would still recommend eating here to get your Chinese take out fix.

This is my «go to» when we want to order Chinese take out as we live close enough for them to deliver and they also have option for online ordering (both added bonus). Their food is pretty good, but since I’ve been ordering I have noticed two things change. One of them is that the prices have increased (when you order online, you can see your order history and how much it all costs) and second is the spare ribs (boneless) are more fatty than before and I always get the Garlic Pork and the flavor is almost always different now and tastes NOTHING like the original way I loved. The egg rolls/​spring roll are smaller than expected. The honey chicken is the worse I’ve ever had. The sweet and sour is thinner like water downed (not sure if they are, but it use to be a good thickness). We use to order a lot of different options and pig out having a little bit of everything and then saving rest for next day — either lunch or dinner. We use to spend quite a bit of money at a time here. Not so much these days… Prices increasing and food quality going down is not a good combo so we don’t order from here as much as we use too. We actually find ourselves picking a local buffet over this place because the food is BETTER tasting and it is cheaper to feed 4 than to order from here. We don’t get our left over for the next day, but are always satisfied with the quality.

This is our second visit to China Wok and we will be back for sure. Great food, Good portions and reasonable price.

I’ve been going here for over a year and I absolutely love the food! They give you a good portion of food and the price is right. I love that you can order online, I always do it that way and within 10 minutes it’s ready.
The only con is that there is only 2 people that speak fluent English and half the time they’re not there. I have multiple times called in the order and they can’t understand one word I say. Overall a great Chinese restaurant and thank god for the online ordering.

Always good every time I go. The food is good and cheap. They give you a large amount of food and it could easily be two meals. I usually get the Bourban Chicken and another side. The service is quick and it is a great place to get to go for lunch break or if you want to grab something after work on your way home. Always staffed so no wait. Love it!

What a disappointment! I have been enjoying food from China Wok since I moved to the area in 2012. Tonight I placed my order at 6:45pm via their online ordering system. At 7:27 pm I got a call from their driver stating his car had broken down, but someone was on their way and our food would be no more than 5 minutes. At 7:46pm I called and wished to cancel the order since they didn’t know when I would get my food and at that point my food had been in the car for over 20 minutes and they aren’t in styrofoam. There was no problem at all and I wished them a good night. I then left to go eat and get a call at 8:07pm that my food was there and I explained I was not home and had cancelled. The gentleman hung up on me then called me back and continued to yell at me threatening to never order again because he will never deliver again. I stated how unfortunate especially given that I order at least 2 – 4 time a month both at work and home. He continued screaming so I decided to share the profanity with him as well… So unprofessional!

Just left the place with a taste of ketchup in my mouth I’m wondering how this PKACE got four and a half stars? NOT GOOD!

We ordered delivery then an hour later they called and said the driver said it was too far so he wouldn’t bring it! I’d give less if possible.

I feel like I have the right to actually review this place since I’m an actual China man. First of all, this place is pretty genuine… there’s actually Chinese employees here! You can barely understand their Engrish, and that’s how you know it’s going to be good food. When you walk in, it doesn’t look like the nicest place but at least you can watch them cook everything so you know it’s safe. Best time to come is when it’s busy so you know the food is fresh. And make sure you read your fortune in your cookie! You can actually learn Chinese!

Great Chinese takeout. Light and fluffy tofu. Fresh vegetables, awesome egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Prices are excellent and the servings are hearty. Try it you’ll like it.

Best Chinese Take out I’ve found! I’ve been going here for over 10 years and they’ve never dropped their standards. Still as good today as it was back then.

Love this place! Me and my wife go here often. You pay like $ 6, and get a heaping pile of great food. If we move away, might be driving back to Sanford just to eat here.

Great Place and they do take out which we love on rainy nights.

Just a few awesome things…
The egg rolls are total perfection. Everything an egg roll should and could be. :)
The «Panda Express» style food (food is already cooked and on display) is available everyday from 11:00am — 3:00pm and 5:00pm –9:00pm.
And at no extra charge, you can order vegetable fried rice instead of pork fried rice with your lunch special. Chock full of veggies and delicious.

China Wok III gets a thumbs up from me because they deliver — LATE! Chinese food falls in a range from these types of places. The crab rangoon was excellent. The sweet & sour chicken was a little too «bready», but overall, it was good! I would definitely recommend it if you need something delivered to your hotel late at night.

We have driven past this place on numerous occasions with nothing more than the lone thought of it’s just another Chinese takeout spot. After reading another Unilocalers review, we decided to check it out.
We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and while they had plenty of customers, the ‘panda express’ style selections made ordering quick and easy. I’m not sure of the times when they serve the food this way, but it ensures your meal will be quick if you have to get back to work.
The options are many, so don’t worry about finding something you’ll like. We got 2 items with lo-​mein and a soda for about $ 6.25 each. The noodles were juicy and the meats the same as well as big pieces. While asking for samples to taste, it was hard for them to find pieces that were small enough to stay on the toothpick.
This is somewhere we will definatley try again.
