DAT Cumfi Cozi Lounge

This place is a great place to get coffee or tea in Sanford. One of the things that irks me about some coffee shops is inconsistently brewed coffee. Well, you don’t get that at DAT Cumfi Cozi Lounge. Every cup of coffee tastes the same and is the same strength. Not to mention the yummy baked goods (cinnamon roll, anyone?).
I always feel very welcome here. They are very friendly and will talk with you, but they also seem to know when you just want to sit and read. They can read their customers. The place also has an artsy/​musical vibe to it. Here’s a challenge for when you come in: try to find pieces of an old dismantled piano that they incorporated into the interior design. Very cool. Repurposing something instead of adding to a landfill.

What a fun place! I highly reccomend the chocolate kiss hot chocolate! The owner was behind the counter with her staff. They were, I believe, all family members. I love that my business supported a true family run café. The best part was that they treated us like family too! Anytime I find myself in that area you can bet your behind that I’ll be back. I’m just sorry that I missed the open mic session. Next time!
