Scott checked us in and cashed us out and was rude in every interaction. It was clear we weren’t welcome. I was with my husband and his classmate (both former marines) on a rare Saturday that we all had time to enjoy the outdoors. It was my first time going shooting and I was excited to try, but he gave us attitude when we asked for a lighter weight rifle for me.
Also I found it extremely strange that we all had to pay a rental fee per person to use 1 gun. If we are each paying a rental fee, we should each of a gun in our hands, imho. Overall we paid $ 150 and drove 2 hours round trip to get scoffed at and made to feel unwelcome.
Frankly, the only reason this review is not 1 star is because the guide that took us around the range was nice, but not enough to make up for Scott’s bad attitude.
We won’t be back, and I’ll make sure to let our classmates at 2 very large schools not to bother either.

Deep River has a beautiful 13 station sporting clays course, with a great layout and challenging targets. The best part, however, was the staff. The guys at Deep River were extremely friendly and welcoming, unlike some of the folks at other area clubs. Highly recommended for all shooters, especially those new to the sport as they were very patient and helpful to the novices in our group. We will definitely be back.
