Captain Joe is amazing. Compared to most tour guides we saw while on the water, Joe was basically the only guide to go IN the water with us and SHOW us the manatees. Other guides we saw just hung out on the boat not even looking at their divers. Captain Joe was always trying to get us the best spot to view the manatees. Most times while we were on our way from the manatees in the boat, Captain Joe would tell other captain’s where the manatees were. When he would ask someone, they wouldn’t help him out. This was an amazing experience and Captain Joe made it happen for us!

The tour we took today with Captain Bill was amazing! He was so informative and knew exactly where to go to get the best chance to swim with the manatee in amazingly clear water. We really were lucky to see as many as we did this time of year, but we not only were able to get up and personal with some we actually happened to see a cow and a baby calf from the boat as well. To make our trip even better, we were able to travel down river and spotted a pod of dolphins who played around the boat! Our perfect day can’t be guaranteed every time, but judging from the dedication of Captain Bill to our entire group’s enjoyment, I am sure that each and every tour can point out special experiences.
