I am very displeased with the associates in this store! Not once did any of the associates greet me when I walked by, and I passed by several of them in different departments while shopping in the store. At checkout, the cashier redeemed my Shop Your Way rewards points WITHOUTMYPERMISSION, never once asking me if I wanted to spend them or keep them. I didn’t realize this had happened until just a few moments ago when I saw I only had 4 points in my account. WTH??? Who was she to use MY points that I earned and was saving for something else??? You can bet I will be complaining to management because the whole experience was VERY unprofessional! If you are looking for excellent customer service, this is NOT the place to find it!

Not impressed ! Love shopping at Kmart normally, but I sadly won’t return to this store. It was a mess. Sale items were not marked and I had to price check most things I bought. Purchased 1 out 4 things I went for. :(

The cashiers/staff could be nicer… actually they could make a small attempt at being helpful, smiling,(ie. Not rolling their eyes when they’re checking you out). If there was a negative star, I’d have chosen that. Perhaps it’s bad timing or just bad luck but every time I go to the K Mart on Horner, no one welcomes me, if I ask a question, I don’t even get eye contact, no one smiles, and when they ring me out they act like they’re doing me a favor or I’ve interrupted the«customer service» department from chatting. Kind of ironic. I’ve actually done my own experiment and went in and smiled and was friendly, just to see if maybe it was me,(let’s be honest, most trips for household items aren’t a trip to the carnival) and I got the same treatment. It just brings me down when the energy in there is so low. There aren’t a lot of options in Sanford and I shop at K Mart for the prices and the location, but I would almost rather go down to Walmart the way I’m treated there and I HATE going to Walmart! That place is a zoo!!! At least they are helpful and upbeat. K Mart needs some serious customer service training. I come in there dragging my son’s baby carrier, and the last thing I need is an attitude because you had to do your job. I never treat people like that at my job, I don’t care what kind of day I’ve had. No one cares! I just want to get in, buy my 409 cleaner and paper towels, without my baby waking up and get out. And if I ask where something is, and it’s one isle over, maybe they could exceed expectations, make eye contact and show me whee it is instead of not even turning around and screaming two isles down to another co worker, and asking her where it is. Let’s be honest, a smile at this point would exceed my expectations. Wow!
