I read about this hot dog stand in the local paper offering unique hot dogs. Next time I was in the area I made it a point to stop in. Tried the Chicago style and the Southern style hotdog. Chicago style is served on poppy seed bun with sport peppers, relish, and pickles. Only thing missing was the Vienna style beef used in traditional chicago style dogs. None the less, very tasty. The Southern style, served with mustard, onions, slaw and chili was spot on. I visited for my 2nd time this past week, going out of my way from Raleigh back home to hit up this joint. It sits conveniently off US1 so if you’re passing through Sanford, I highly recommend making a pit stop. The owners, Chris and Jamie, will make you undoubtedly feel welcome. Make sure and mention to them you found them on Unilocal as they were happy when I told them I would be adding their business on here.
