A nice shortcut Sunland Park is a pleasant 15 acre park that is tucked away on a corner so it’s a common place for people to walk when they want to cut some space and save themselves a couple of minutes. However the park is actually quite pleasant with tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, a baseball field and a cool playground. It has a nice bridge over a little stream but the park always looks so burned out and dry to me. It just seems so open and barren and would benefit from some more trees or plants. I go by here a lot and even though all the facilities are in very nice shape I have never seen anyone actually using anything. Except for people cutting through the park and the occasion person stopping here to eat lunch or read a paper it always seems so empty and barren. Perhaps I go by at the wrong time or perhaps the park is just in a inconvenient location. It is a pleasant little park and it would be nice to see someone doing something there besides just walking.
