Great little theater with a wide array of performances to choose from, something for everyone.
My one issue is that they allow food and drink in the theater during the performance.

Lovely theater space in downtown Sanford. I attended a weekend afternoon Jazz concert here and the acoustics were great! I love smaller theaters that give you a more intimate experience of the performance. For the event I attended, the balcony was not needed, but I poked around during the intermission and found that space to be quite nice as well.
The only drawback would be for patrons with limited mobility as there are only two single-patron restrooms downstairs. The crowd for jazz was a bit older and there was quite a line. However, larger restrooms are available upstairs just past a lovely bar/reception space that I am sure is used at evening performances.

A great little spot for the arts right off the main downtown Sanford strip. Saw the Summer Rewind for the 2012 Love Your Shorts Film Festival (short films — duh!) for just $ 5. The Summer Rewind was the collection of audience favorites and category winners for the film festival.
The Wayne Densch center was a great location for the mini-film fest. Right as you walk in you get a sense of being somewhere with lots of history and character — no cookie-cutter mega-movie theater here.
They seem to show several kinds of events and performances — form the previously mentioned film festival to plays, etc. Will definitley continue to check out their schedule and come back!
