My family and I ate lunch here on a Monday afternoon. We had Rachael as our server she was adorable very friendly and knowledgeable about the new menu! You should have seen the ice cream she decorated for my son it looked like something straight out of a Winghouse commercial!

I was contacted by management and was told to return so they could«knock it out of the park». We returned to get barely a base hit. We asked for the manager when we arrived and was not impressed with the response of a unenthusiastic person who asked our name and who said he gets alot of complaints because its a restaurant and returned with«oh you are the Unilocal people» and with no other response he walked away. Our server was ok and the bar was very slow. The food was ok and they took 18.00 dollars off our 70.00 bill. We originally wasted 60.00 on the trip before. The manager never returned to see if our meal was ok and probably didn’t care. I was extremely disappointed.

I love reading these reviews because people are always so negative. Whether it be to try and get merchandise for free upon next visit or to just be a straight douche. I came here upon my visit to sanford and was greeted politely and treated with the utmost respect. The place is well managed the beer is icy cold and the wings are superb. The girls aren’t nearly as trashy as they are at hooter and I feel less pressured to give a large tip. I give this five stars!!!

This place has gone downhill since the last time we were there, it was empty when we arrived but it began to fill up as time went on. As its a wing place I witness very few folks eating wings, both of us had wings and I would have to say they weren’t that good. The chicken wing isn’t support to have that tail attached as it appeared to be improperly cleaned, the drums were good but both items weren’t fried sufficiently, and they were to big. Real Buffalo Style wings aren’t supposed to be giant, but closer to a medium regardless of the time of year. The sauce was bland as I ordered Hot/Garlic, I ended up with Hot/Garlic Parmasian which wasn’t bad but not good either plus it wasn’t really hot. My wife order Hot/Xtra hot mixed and it was a good choice. The fries were exceptional but a large wasn’t really that large and had to order a second. This will be my last time coming here, I’ll leave it to those folks who aren’t knowledgeable about wings to keep this place in business.

What can I say this place is a poor man’s Hooters. The interior is an exact replica of a Hooters. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in one but the menu looks to be pretty close to being the same. We went to watch a football game, it started off well, but quickly went downhill. We ordered a couple of apps, then 1 person ordered some wings and a salad. The apps were decent enough, they seemed to like the wings, the salad looked appetizing enough for me to want one. A few of us waited a little while before ordering our main meal. In the mean time it was hard to find our waitresses to get refills and what not. So my wife and I order the same thing, 10 wings and a side salad. Even though it was a Sunday and football was on the TVs, this place was not busy. There were several empty tables and all of outside was still unused. This where my main issue is, it had to be a minimum to get our wings and a salad. I know it doenst take that long to fry wings and toss them in a sauce. So by the time we got our food, the wings were warm and so was the salad, it looked like our waitress just let our food sit under the heat lamps… including our salads. Thats right, when we got our salads they were warm and the cheese on them was melted from the heat lamp. At this point I was pretty much done, so we quickly ate what we could and wanted to leave. It literally took us another 20 – 30 minutes to get any servers attention. This place is awful and we will never set foot in the place again. I don’t recommend anyone going here! I should have took the warnings from the other low rated reviews and the fact that half the place was empty at 12:30 in the afternoon when a place like that should be packed out with football fans.

This place is exactly like hooters unless you are here for the wings. Got original wings in extreme and was pretty disappointed. Sauce flavor had a good kick but wings were barely breaded and overall weak. Next time I would keep driving to hooters.

Had garlic Parmesan wings and some beers. The bartenders, two good looking ladies took care of me. Everything was good and enjoyed stopping here before heading to my hotel. Good place to visit. Thanks !

I’m an out of towner but was recommended the WingHouse by some relatives that live in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the wings, beer and service were all exactly what I was looking for. The wings were hot, crisp and soaked in sauce with no breading. The waitress kept our beers coming and a smile on our sauce covered faces. It made for an enjoyable evening and they were very accommodating to myself and my fellow New England Patriots fans.

Yuck. Chicken wings were burnt, breading was falling off. Sauce was garbage. So much Grease!

Stopped in here last week when I was in Sanford. I have been to the WingHouse in Winter Park, and I always had good service and good wings there. So I thought I would try this location while driving by. The location is good, being on Orlando Drive(U.S. 17 – 92), so it is not off the beaten path. I always have wings here, so I decided that since it was lunch time, I would order the cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. Burgers come with potato chips and pickle spear. I also ordered five wings, medium. If you are here, you have to get some wings! And the wings are available in different flavors, as well as heat. Never have I had any bad wings at any WingHouse location I have been to. My order, along with two 32 ounce drafts, came to $ 24.58. I decided to have my lunch at the bar, and the bartender, Kasandra, was friendly, polite, and provided great service. This was my first visit to this location. And living in Orlando, I probably will not be out here soon. But if I am in the Sanford area, I will most likely stop in here again. As I ate, there were several regulars having lunch at the bar. And Kasandra took the time to chat with each guest, as well as provide good service to the customers. It is nice to have friendly service at a restaurant/lounge. There have been some places I have been to where the servers think they are doing you a favor waiting on you. Not here. Nor have I had any problem with other WingHouse locations. As for cleanliness, the bar and dining area were clean. As was the bathroom. And like all WingHouse locations, there is also a outside dining area/patio. Being a chain, the food is your basic pub fare. So there really is not much other than wings, burgers, and sandwiches. But if you want a place to watch a sporting event while having beer and wings, this is a good place to go.

Bad service. I was placed at a dirty table. The waitress took forever to get our orders. I will never eat at this winghouse! Save your money

We went on a slower night so service was decent. It’s basically a knock off Hooters. Wings were okay, nothing I haven’t had before, but they were bottomless on Wednesdays so that’s a plus and why we went in the first place. A negative is that if you want any dipping sauce, it comes in pre-packaged 2.5oz sizes at $ 0.69 each. I’d probably go back, but the experience was nothing to write home about.

Gross Buffalo shrimp. A dozen massively over-battered and severely-undercooked shrimp, totally swamped in as-requested, medium-heat«hot sauce». No, not sauce; more like greasy, bright-orange soup. I thought the Buffalo-sauce thing was tossing freshly-prepared shrimp, or wings, or whatever, in a bowl, with sauce as a complement — then transferring the hot food to a basket, and serve. Not Wing House. Wing House killed the shrimp 3 times: when they pulled them from the water; when they fried them in the fryer; and when they drowned them in Buffalo soup. Two stars — one for each of the two very nice, friendly young ladies serving us at the bar. No stars for the lousy, inedible food. Did I say gross? Yup.

Unfortunately I’m mixed on this location. For the most part Wing House rocks and today might possibly was an «off» day but nevertheless the experience wasn’t great. There was 6 of us, not a huge lunch party. The waitress got the drink order completely wrong. Our order was pretty standard… one wrap, one fish taco, one buffalo sandwich, one order of wings medium buffalo style, one order of wings with Dallas sauce buffalo style… and then one order hot and breaded… this was order that sunk us, it arrived at the table a solid 10 minutes later than the rest of the meals. The manager delivered it and apologized, said the kitchen totally botched the order and had to re-make it. He did give us a coupon for a free order of wings on our next visit, the bad part was none of us live in town. If in town again I’d give them another shot.

Renee was a very nice and efficient server but the food was sub par. The wings were tiny and they use individually portioned Ken’s dressings. I like that they have games and the atmosphere isn’t bad. I’d stick to coming here to watch sports with friends rather than coming here looking for quality food.

Spent the night in Sanford to be near airport for an early morning flight home next day. Tried the wings here for dinner, around 8:30pm. They were ok, average at best. Decent size, but could’ve been cooked a little longer and medium sauce was mild and sweetish. Wouldn’t go back again. Bar tender was pleasant and attentive.

Wings, Beer, Ballgames and … By Parham P Baker It was my last night in Sunny Sanford Florida and I wandered down to Ker’s WingHouse of Sanford. I visited there earlier in the week with a local friend of mine, enjoyed it, and went back to watch the University of Kentucky football game. As you walk up, you’ll notice a section of the parking lot sectioned off for motorcycles. Don’t worry. This is decidedly not a biker bar, it’s a «waitress in skimpy top and shorter than short shorts» bar. Inside the atmosphere is pretty Hooteresque. The walls, floors, ceilings, tables and seating are very nice natural wood and the place is very clean. Hundreds of bikini girl pictures hang on the walls around the numerous TVs, all set to football games. Interspersed here and there is a bit of sports memorabilia. The founder of the chain is Crawford Ker who played pro football for the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. There’s one pool table and a few arcade type games which were dominated by the kids of a couple watching a ball game. They offer a fair selection of beers on tap that included Yuengling, Sam Adams, Fat Tire, Blue Moon, Stella Artois and others by the glass or pitcher. They offer a full liquor bar as well. The bar is an island in the middle of the restaurant area with 8 TVs overhead and 2 lively and personable bartenders… yes, in shorter than short shorts.
While places like this tend to be «guy centric» there were several groups of women at the bar and at most of the tables were couples, a number with kids. First time by my friend and I split a burger, curly fries, 10 Hot wings and 10 Dallas style wings. Next visit I ordered House on Fire and Asian wings. Ok, gotcha, we need a sauce outline! Mild, Medium, Hot, House on Fire, and Exxtreme are the basic sauces. Then the specialties are Blackened — «Louisiana’s Finest,» Dallas — «Honey BBQ,» Asian — «From the Far East,» Garlic Parmesan — «Think Italy.» The wings can be ordered boneless, original breaded, buffalo without breading and naked. 10 original or buffalo cost $ 8.99, boneless(they just say«an order») $ 6.99, and naked $ 9.99 for 10. You can order just wings or drums for an up-charge. Other offerings include a number of salads and apps, fish tacos, a grouper sandwich, several wraps, chicken sandwiches a few ways and of course, burgers. There is a $ 4.99 Kids Menu and a few interesting looking deserts(can you say Key Lime Pie?) Both nights the wings were meaty and well coated in sauce. The sauces were good, but not crazy good. The House on Fire was the best tasting to me being a lover of hot food. I confess to being fond of BW3s sauce selections, and these didn’t quite measure up to that yardstick. The hamburger was good and cooked as ordered as were the curly fries. WingHouse is not something to make a special trip for food-wise, but still much better than average bar food. The service was provided by, of course, very good looking young ladies. They ALL were poised, friendly and attentive… even exceptional in most cases. Sometimes in places like this the ladies get attitudes and provide poor service counting on looks rather than great service for their tips. This was certainly not the case on either visit. Even the manager(a guy) also stopped by several times to check on me. My second night there my excellent server(Mariah) had a new server«shadowing» her… real training! Wow. In short, I’d put the food on a par with Hooters but a tad below a BW3s. The service and atmosphere, especially the service, beats them both hands down. FOOD — 3, ATMOSPHERE — 4, SERVICE — 5, CLEANLINESS — 5 WISHESFORTHISPLACE — More variety and depth in the sauces, more sides This is decidedly the best place to kick back and watch a ball game and have a cold brew and wings in the area. If I return to Sanford, I’ll come watch my KY Wildcats here… but they were losing so badly I left early. ~p

There is not many full service restaurants in Sanford open past 9pm so after an event we stopped in for some thing to eat. This is your average breastaurant. The service was good, but the food took some time to prepare and still came out lukewarm. Granted it was around 10pm, but the there was not a great deal of customers to warrant slow service. We tried the hottest they had but it did not have a lot of kick to it. Overall, it is ok to stop in and eat, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Avoid. You can do better(Hooters). They have a major ant issue here. If you have a table by the window, they’ll be visiting. It’s perhaps why they’re always spraying bleach and shit all over the place. Gross. I do not get how it’s always so packed. The wings are soggy no matter how you order them(I always ask for them to be well done). Their fries are limp, too. Each of the sauces I’ve tried– Mild, medium, Asian, Dallas, Garlic Parmesan– are all sugary. Gross. Servers don’t pay much attention to you if you’re not male. Gross.
