They were good, but now they’re gone. It’s been a hard year for restaurants in Sanger. Sadly, they’re closed and have been for months.

Fantastic BBQ. Friendly service, clean environment with great food. Six of us ate for under $ 60 with plenty left to take home. The brisket(sliced and chopped) is so moist and flavorful that you won’t need sauce. The meatloaf was exceptional. This place is well worth the drive. The potato salad, BBQ beens and coleslaw were all awesome. You won’t be disappointed.

Owners Jay and Mindy sure know what they’re doing in the kitchen! The brisket tacos are the bomb.(Pay the extra for avocados on top!) Consistently good food, and who needs fries when you can have Mindy’s sweet and smokey baked beans and bacon mac and cheese?! If you’re in the area and craving the real deal, this is the place you need to stop.

This place has the best brisket breakfast tacos. The loaded baked potato is good to, butter, sour cream, cheese and brisket! Friendly staff! This place is always crowed around lunch time, but the waits not that long. Family run business and still better than the chain restaurant Dickys on the interstate. Come down down and check out Texas Smoke and the little boutiques around town!

«Was» a big fan, not any more! Portions of meat have been cut back, while side portion size has been increased. Also, bread is now on the tray to help you fill up and not notice the smaller meat portion. Ordered brisket plate and got 2 small slices of brisket. Oh, price went up to! Want to make more money? Then at least open Friday and Saturday nights which would create more volume. Some nights are part of the business. By the way, a little friendliness to those of us NOT from Sanger and who have driven an extra 10 miles to eat would go a long way.

This place is amazing! Everything I’ve tried here has been over the top delicious. The facilities are always very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food portions are generous and I always leave full. My favorites so far are the smoked meatloaf, chopped brisket, and the potato smothered in brisket, sour cream and cheese. The sides are equally as tasty and a nice complement to the BBQ. I can’t recommend this place strongly enough.

Best BBQ not only in Sanger but in North Texas. Try the smoked meatloaf sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. They do plan early so plan accordingly. This is a family hometown business not a crappy BBQ chain like Dickey’s…

I love this place. Jay and his wife are some of the nicest people you will meet so it’s going to be hard not to have a pleasant experience. Being in an area that thrives on fast food, it’s nice to have somewhere to eat a good, freshly prepared meal. They don’t skimp either. The prices are fair and you get a good amount of food. Even though I usually get my food to go, I can’t help but notice how clean they keep the restaurant. They close earlier than most of the big chain places so make sure you get there early or plan for a weekend treat.
