*THIS* is the best shell store!
I came here for a seashell chandelier for my sister. They had a really great selection, and most of them were $ 30 (which seems like a good price to me). They had many great supplies, including these really awesome display cases for coquinas. I had no idea what coquinas were until I came to Sanibel — they are the most colorful shells, and they look like little butterflies! They were everywhere when we visited, so I had collected a TON.
In fact, the next day, when looking over my massive haul of coquinas, I decided I needed a bigger display case, so I returned here. They gladly accepted my trade and told me I might want to look at their display cases in the larger part of their store… THIS building is at the «905 Fitzhugh St» address on this Unilocal page. Make sure you go there! There are many, many, more shell-​craft supplies. All kinds of things to make your imagination go wild. If it’s nearby I’d recommend stopping here in here at the start of your vacation to get shelling IDEAS, and then coming back at the end once you know your shell haul.

Great selection — we come here every year and there is always something new to see. The business is family owned and operated for over 25 years so they know seashells inside and out. Best shell store on the island for sure.
