I have been with ABSI for almost 2 years now. I do not work with the kids or adults directly as I am in the billing office, but I see what our employees do for them and it is so amazing to see the progression over time. I know it is hard for some to understand how long the process takes, but it is so important to be patient as this really is life changing for everyone involved. I wanted to like this company and honestly we don’t have a lot of experience with them but it is for that reason I am leaving a poor review. When I first contacted them about doing ABA for our son they were really nice and thorough. Come to find out (since my son is out of school for the summer) they were under the impression that he didn’t go to school and that we would be doing a lot of hours. When I told them we would want to cut back his hours when school started they cut off all communication. Also when we gave them our insurance information they said it would take around 90 days to start therapy. Yet they said they would only have to do two one hour appointments to assess him. I am pretty sure this was their attempt to cut ties. Once I emailed them back and said we would still be interested but that we wouldn’t be able to do very many hours during school season they just stopped returning calls/​emails. I got the feeling it is all about the money at this place.

Fantastic staff, outstanding knowledge and care forv special needs individuals. Helped my son after years of trying to get the school district to acknowledge my son’s special needs by attending his IEP and advocating for him. ABS at home and social skills group at their office has helped our family tremendously.
