Bail Hotline rocks! Well they used to anyways. As a returning customer– 5^th time bailing out my buddies who can’t seem to stay out of trouble this year– they were unable to help me post a 60k bond. Over the weeks of my friend rotting away in jail, bail eventually was reduced to 16k. I was always allowed to post bail with little or no down payment up to this point (even 1%!!) Now, they are refusing to work with me unless I hand over a pink slip. They are insane if they think I’m going to have over my $ 50,000 car title for a $ 1,600 bailout!!! Right? Maybe I’m wrong for thinking this is a ridiculously stupid change in policy, nevertheless, they lost my business as well as everyone one who asks me «Dang, John AND Jane Doe got hemmed up again last night… Who do you use to bail people out again???»
