The Alfredo sauce is really good and the service is excellent. I will definitely be going back.

A lovely family owned business. The owners Fibi and Magdy are a really sweet couple and greeted us at the door. Our waitress was a doll and very attentive. They have a cute little sports bar and TVs. Two in our party had the huge antipasto salads. I had chicken Marsala and my mom had lasagna. Both yummy and ample portions. We finished our meal with their homemade Tiramisu! Soooooo good!

Place is tucked away and not really visible from 17th Street, but it’s worth the search. We ate dinner around 6:30PM and were the only customers, more arrived around 7PM. The hostess/waitress seated us and took drink orders immediately. She brought our drinks and asked if we wanted bread. Trust me you want the bread, it’s toasted and oh so soft. She took our orders, I got the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was really good. The food arrived quickly and everybody was pleased with their selections. We all ordered Spumoni for dessert and it was fantastic. Highly recommended restaurant if you are looking for casual Italian dinning.

I’m actually writing this review after going to Buca di Beppo and ordering their Marsala fettuccine… Nothing compared to this place! Buca’s was way too sweet and overpowering. I had the chicken Marsala here a few weeks ago without the chicken(vegetarian style lol) and it was perfectly sauced and seasoned, definitely not too sweet! My coworker had the eggplant parmigiana and she loved it and had plenty for leftovers. Such a great deal with these prices!

Friday night around 6:30 and only two couples there. Now that we’ve eaten there I can see why. The service was fine but the food wasn’t. The side salad with viniagrette dressing and iceberg lettuce was bland and overpriced. The spaghetti with meatballs was watery and reminded us of Chef Boyardee. The garlic bread was plentiful in quantity but not in flavor. Where was the garlic? The butter? The pepperoni pizza was the best part of the meal. Disappointed with the food and won’t be back.

Went for dinner today and we were very happy with the food and service. Husband had baked ziti and I had pasta with grilled chicken in their fra diavoli sauce. It was really good. My husband kept eating my sauce with the bread they served. We also shared a small pepperoni pizza that we ended up bringing most home because we were full. Took a big longer than expected to get our food but we weren’t in a hurry and it was worth the wait. Tasted fresh, we will be back for sure.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Its quiet, light music, and very friendly staff. They didn’t have eggplant parmesan sandwiches on their menu, which I love, and they were totally game to make that for me and it was amazing(see picture). They should totally add that to the menu. The bread tastes and is freshly baked. My wife ordered the fra divolo spaghetti and she loved the kick. Highly recommend and compliments to Chef Jesse for being accommodating and cooking some great food!

Pizza is overpriced for what you get as far as a pizza goes. I consider myself a big pizza fanatic guru. This pizza was nothing special. Didn’t taste horrible, but let’s just say I rather go spend $ 5 at little Cesars across the street. The service was great though :) just not enough for me to go back. If I may add, the place was completely empty other than us and the couple who sat for two min before walking out.

Came here for a belated birthday dinner with my boyfriend. I had the scallops with linguine with minestrone. Minestrone and scallops were delicious! The tiramisu was to die for! It was homemade goodness! Service was very welcoming and friendly, food was wonderful!

By far the BEST Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. And I’m from Italy, Milano I know good Italian food when I see it! Definitely coming back with my family! Also the owners are the sweetest things on the planet, they even sat with us and shared funny stories. Thank you guys!

I can’t decide if this place is trying to be a sports bar or Italian restaurant. They have big screen TVs, beer ads and baseball themed beer ads everywhere. They also have columns wrapped in grape vines. The two don’t go well together. They also serve buffalo wings as an appetizer; not exactly Italian food. The side salad was lettuce, cucumbers, red onion, a couple tomato slices and dressing. Nothing exciting but it’s included in the meal so it’s hard to complain. There was bread served but it was forgettable. We ordered the sampler appetizer and it came with 3 buffalo wings(good but weird because it’s an Italian place), 3 mozzarella sticks(so good!) and calamari(really good too). My boyfriend ordered the lasagna and I ordered the pasta/sauce/sausage plate. He wasn’t a huge fan of his but I thought it was pretty good. For mine, the sausage had a weird texture and little flavor… it reminded me of ground beef. It also didn’t have a casing which was weird to me for some reason. I really liked their sauce. It had good flavor and the pasta was cooked well. We did have to ask for Parmesan and it was basically the kind from the big green can. The servers were really nice, polite and attentive. Overall we weren’t impressed. We’d rather go to Tu Tu Fresco down the street, pay less money and get better food.

So finally came to Bella Marri’s for dinner with my husband and my son. I had read a lot of reviews and two of my friends recommended it as well. We came in around 7 pm on a Friday I believe. We were almost seated immediately. We got greeted by who i believe were the owners. Our waitress came and got our drinks, we also ordered wings at that time. Which i must say were really good. Not too long after, our dinner arrived. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, our son ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband ended up ordering a calzon. All our plates looked pretty. The way they presented the meal was cute. One thing I was not satisfied with was the flavor of the food. My chicken did not taste fresh, my husband’s calzon and son’s pasta were missing flavor as well. Our son really did not like his pasta because that was the first time he had ever complained about his pasta not tasting«good». We all have been to many Italian places and we have never had that problem. It is a small cute little place but i would recommend working on adding more flavor and adding a little more variety to the menu.

My wife and I ate dinner at Bella Marri’s this week and really enjoyed the experience. Be sure to ask for bread as you are seated and for a special treat request their creamy Italian dressing as a dip for the warm bread. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs for my wife. The meatballs were very tasty and well seasoned. The sauce was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana. It was very good. It is baked with a lot of cheese and sauce and was quite filling. We split a Tiramisu at the end. They make it fresh and you can tell. It was absolutely delicious.

My husband got a flyer from this new restaurant at his office so we decided to check out this new Italian Restaurant on 17th Street. As Bella Marri’s sits back, in a small strip mall, you really have to be looking for it in order to notice it. It is located on 17th Street at Mabury St, where Togos used to be. From Tustin Ave, it is on the right hand side. We arrived about 5:00 pm on a Friday evening. We were warmly greeted by the Owner, Magdy and he said we could sit wherever we liked. The restaurant is a nice size, with about 10 tables and stools at the small bar. The tables are beautiful with what looks like granite tops. Everything is very new and fresh looking. There is a flat screen TV and they have the Sports package so that they can pull up most games. Magdy saw my that my husband had a baseball game on his phone offered to have his son put the game on the TV. My husband is a Red Sox fan and that wasn’t a game that was offered but it was so nice of them to try to find it for him! Happy Hour is from 3 – 6 pm and offered $ 3 wines. We decided to try the house wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Chardonnay. We were both impressed with the taste and quality of the wine. I especially enjoyed the Cabernet! We ordered the Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer. Upon first bite, it was obvious that these were homemade and not some frozen offering. They were the best Mozzarella sticks I have had in a restaurant! They came with a side of marinara sauce that was thick and rich and tasted so good! My husband ordered the cheese pizza and I had the Cioppino. The pizza is thin crust and loaded with cheese. The sauce has a slight sweet taste to it, which I liked. My husband wasn’t a fan of the slight sweetness but still enjoyed the pizza. My Cioppino was very good. It had muscles, a large piece of fish, crab legs, shrimp and clams in a rich red wine sauce. And, if you check in with Unilocal, you get an order of Garlic Bread for only a penny! We didn’t use the offer but it would have gone very well with the Cioppino! The service is excellent! Magdy gave us the menu and took our order for the appetizer and then a young lady came out and took our orders. She was very good about checking back to see if we needed anything and noticed when my husband’s wine glass was empty to offer him a refill. She even took the time to figure out which coupon on the flyer would work best for us. Magdy came over and asked if we enjoyed our meal and spent some time chatting with us after dinner. He is a very sweet man who is working very hard to make this new location as successful as his previous restaurant. Bella Marri’s was located in Anaheim for many years, until the rent became prohibitive at that location and they moved to their new location. With no other good Italian restaurants offering the same quality of homemade food nearby, I think they will be successful here also, once the word gets out. I highly recommend this restaurant! I know we will be regulars!

Best new Italian place around! I’m so picky when it comes to my pasta sauce and when I heard they make everything to order I couldn’t pass up! The chicken Rosmarino is so flavorful! Tiramisu is life changing. Perfect balance of sweetness. They have happy hour wines(beers too, but I’m a wino), so you know they already convinced me!

So this place opened up not too long ago, I had to try it since i love Italian food. First off the people are very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is super clean and flawless. I got the baked Ziti, it was amazing, i will definitely come back here to eat again. I recomend it to anyone that wants delicious italian food!
