Brianna Barela Hair

Brianna is honestly the best! She’s the only one I trust with my hair. She knows what colors are best on me and always helps me decide on how to update my look. She cares about her clients, makes them feel comfortable, and is always professional. I’ve seen her grow throughout the years and she definitely gets better with every visit. Never have any complaints!

I heard about Brianna from one of my friends so I decided to make the drive drown from the Inland Empire it was totally worth it! I went in wanting to do something new with my hair but I didn’t know what I had in mind, Brianna gave great suggestions and I let her do her thing. Best decision I made! She gave me the BEST hair cut I’ve had. I wish I could have her do my hair every day, the cut the styling of it all was just so perfect. Thank you again! Totally making the drive for my next hair cut.

I think most of these reviews are from friend and family. That said, I decided to give them a call to request rates and availability. I left a message and am still waiting 2 days later for a call back. Even if they have magic shears and out of this world coloring ability, how would a potential customer know if the business never calls or answers their business line?
I applaud her for leaving her mall job (per another reviewer) and start her own business, but if she’s a business owner, she should act like one and, you know, have some customer service, otherwise there won’t be any new clients because they would never be able to talk to her.
Hopefully, she pays attention to reviews and feedback because so far, the experience has been unimpressive to say the least, and as for Instagram pics, I am wary of them because of so many stylist uploading pics that aren’t theirs, but that’s neither here nor there. Just reviewing an example of my experience so far with this business.

I loved getting my hair done by Brianna! She gave me a honey ombré and a trim on my ends and bangs And I love it so much, it’s been a couple weeks now but my is growing out really nice. There were nothing but good vibes from her as soon as I walked into the salon. She’s plays great music and offers free drinks I had such a great time. Oh and her head massages while she washes your hair are… GREAT! Haha plus she gives free band trims. So I will definitely be seeing her again soon.
NEGATIVE: Parking in Downtown Santa Ana isn’t costs but I usualy try and schedule my appointments with Brianna on Sundays because parking is free all day.

Brianna was recommended to me through Instagram. She is truly one of the sweetest and most dedicated professionals I’ve ever come across. She worked her patootie off to get me the hair I wanted, in the healthiest way possible. I had a HORRIBLE experience with a previous salon and her service was just the best and completely renewed my faith in professional stylists. I’m so happy I decided to take the leap with her on my hair journey, I can’t imagine anyone else could have done such a great job taking my hair from black to white/​gray. Loved her so much i’ve not only recommended several friends and coworkers but I also took my mom to have Brianna work her hair magic. Can’t recommend enough!

The days of «Cut my hair 1inch, please.» and next thing you know your walking out of the salon crying with bangs and a BOB are over!!! Brianna does exactly what you want, all while accomplishing what your hair needs. Brianna is talented, artistic and educated in her craft. I leave happy every time I arrive and leave hair chair, truly amazing !

Back in 2008 I needed a haircut last minute and my usual place had no openings. I was super scared because I’m super picky with my cut and had the same hairstylist for 2 years. I went to a salon close by because I was in a rush and met Brianna and showed her how I liked my hair to look after a fresh cut. She was awesome and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have gone to her ever since even after she moved to this new location. That’s how good she is that I was willing to follow her. She’s always able to work with my busy schedule and she is very affordable. About a year ago I said I wanted to try something different with my hair but didn’t know what and she helped me pick and executed it perfectly. I am so thankful to have found such a great hairstylist and now when I see her it’s like we are old friends. You won’t regret giving her a shot.

I went a few places around town to try and get some fun color in my hair. Every place I went to lacked major creativity. Not at Brianna Barela Hair! I was recommended to go by a friend and she did not disappoint! She took my basic idea and went crazy above and beyond my expectations.

Brianna is amazing! I’ve been following her since she was at Carlton hair salon inside of mainplace. I love that she has her independent shop now in downtown Santa Ana-it’s so cute!
She was the first person to color my hair EVER and I wanted a subtle ombré so she did a beautiful ombré/​balayage that melted and blended perfectly! Since then we’ve played around with styles and she recently gave me a long bob that fits my curly hair. She is amazing every time!

Brianna is an amazing artist! I am constantly getting compliments on my hair and she deserves all the credit.
