Charlie’s Liquor needs a face lift. It doesn’t look clean or fresh. The aisles are jammed packed with candies, snacks, odds and ends. They looked suspiciously dated. My sister and I came here on a beer run on Christmas eve because it was close to the parents and nothing else was open. The mission was to get Budlight for our flip cup tournament. Oh a whim, we decided to get a bottle of sparkling wine. Ballatore Gran Spumante, which is a decent bubbly. It was Christmas eve afterall. Why not? My suspicions were confirmed. Not only was the cork DIFFICULT to open, but the wine itself was completely flat. There were no fizzy, bubbly goodness! Also they charge $ 1 for using debit! Dislike!!!

As far as stop and robs go, this one is nice. I’ll swing by to pick up a bag of spicy pork rinds or a soda every now and then. Due dates… check. Pleasant Korean owner… check. Convenient parking… check. It has the usual wall of happiness(liquor), wall of sadness(lottery tickets), and 3 aisles of faux groceries. Oh…and if you’re bringing junior, don’t go down aisle 1. You know… the one with the covered up magazines and DVD’s not from Pixar.
