Two-stars is about right. The hotel is next to a large corporate moving company and we were given a room right next to their parking lot, a lot where their employees stood out there yapping and smoking for hours. I had to continually check my vehicle in the lot as I did not trust some of the people hanging around it. First, I arrive and see the front desk. Very nice young folks ready to help. They run my credit card through and it is rejected — twice. They try to tell me it is the chip in my card. Then they tell me their system cannot input my date manually, the computer is not equipped for that. I call my bank and they say there is no problem with the card and it is the system at the hotel that is faulty. The front desk then tells me that they have had problems with their outdated computer system and they will notify the manager. Ridiculous. We get in our room and it is about as small as a studio apartment. There was a separate TV from the bedroom in the room upon entry with a sofa bed. But reception on both TVs was bad. The sink was in the same room as the bed. The toilet was in the same room as the shower. Shower was very decent, though. The outside grounds were pleasant and well-kept. Fortunately, we only«needed» it for one night. «For the price and the $ 100 deposit, no way is this place worth it and no way will I stay here again.

Upon check-in I was provided with a «safe word» instead of a wi-fi password… That should have been clue. This place is cheap. Which is likely why my company put me up here(they’re cheap too). This place is using the stationary from the previous hotel(The Quality Inn). The bathroom door just misses the toilet, which is crooked to allow the bathroom door to open. The place is relatively clean, but it’s louder than I’d like. I can hear the neighbors, I can hear people outside my room, I can hear traffic, I can hear the airport… This said, I’m right in the middle of Santa Ana, so no surprise. The furniture is old, outdated, and a bit of a bummer. The bed has been ridden hard… I’m not a huge fan of this place. I wouldn’t dare leave something in my car; actually, I’ll be pretty stoked if it’s still there in the morning. If you’re looking for a cheap, relatively clean, questionably safe hotel, this is your place. If you’re not into wearing earplugs to bed and you like feeling like you got your money’s worth… Keep on trucking.
