I found a flyer and button for this place at Urban Outfitters while looking for Simpsons toys. Decided to stop in one day and have been back probably twice a month ever since. The two people that are always working are super cool and helpful and have given me great deals, they even noticed us out at a restaurant as one of their customers. The art gallery upstairs is a nice touch also. Very cool store that I hope to see grow.

My friend told me about an art opening that they had here last month which featured a couple of his bikes one fixed gear and some older type bike that he has modified. The show was called Bike Curious. So, no I didn’t make it to the opening because I was out of town however I have made it in recently to check it our before they tear the show down. One thing I must say is that whoever the little hipster was at the front desk should have better skills to when it comes to greeting customers. I am so sick of pretentious pricks. So, I was told that the exhibit was on the second and third floor. There was tons of art here. Art that was based on bicycles. The show will end soon. But, I think that it is rad that it is a toy store slash gallery. The gallery is beautiful. A little too warm but beautiful. Front desk hipster LAME…

My new spot for Art Toys. LOVEIT Don’t get me wrong, I still like Pop Monster and am a loyal fan because of how cool Nicole is over there, but even with a smaller store, Go, ZiIla! has a larger selection of the art toys that I like and am interested in including the Marvel Comics Subcasts that I am currently collecting. The staff is very friendly, informative and show a genuine interest in what they are selling. Daddy Like.
