I’ve figured out why I’ve needed so many root canals over the years. It is because Dr. Mailoan is the worst dentist ever.
She is either 1. grossly incompetent or 2. purposely neglectful so that I could have more expensive and invasive procedures done for which she could bill my insurance. She failed to diagnose cavities which would get so big that a root canal would be required.
I am contemplating legal action because it was only after I sought a second opinion did I find out that 1. an abscess was not a normal thing to have and that 2. I had cavities that were not diagnosed by Dr. Mailoan.

I’ve been looking for a dentist to do some cavity fillings for a while, but I come from a low income family without health insurance so we’ve been putting it off since its always been out of our price range.
We found this place and it definitely worked for us. The dentist is a sweet older woman, very heavily accented, but she definitely knows what she’s doing. In between her and her assistant, you’ll get great service at great rates (we were able to pay for all our fillings out of pocket).
Nothing fancy about the location, its a small office sporting little more than the necessary machinery. I imagine a lot of people pass this place up because there’s no fountain in the reception room or any ivory statues of Herculean men with heroic jaws to inspire confidence in the institution, but if you know what you want you can get it here. It’ll be done well and it’ll be done much cheaper than most places, and she wont try to scare you into buying services you don’t need (something i’ve seen a lot of dentists do).
Definitely worth your business.

I don’t have dental insurance, and was looking for a general dentist who does a good job who does not charge an arm and leg… and I found one!
For $ 50 you get quality teeth cleaning… not like the ones I’ve been to in the past who just brushes your teeth with fancy dentist equipment and charges you $ 100+!!! She cleans thoroughly, and you will feel it!
Although she has heavy accent and quite difficult to understand, it didn’t really matter because as a dentist, all she needed to do was help you, and help maintain your teeth… She’s not into marketing services either, if you don’t need it, she will tell you…
This is not a fancy dental clinic, so don’t get your expectations up… There are no LCD TV’s or fancy waterfalls in the waiting area… Perhaps, this is how she keeps her fee low… She is also understaff compared to other clinics… There is just her and an assistant… My 5 stars was for the great service she gives… its nice to know that there are still dentists who does a good job, and does not scream $$$ all the time…
I’ll be back next week for a fill…
